RYAN Hardie was Plymouth Argyle's hero by knocking Liverpool out of the FA Cup.

The Championship side defeated the Reds in a huge upset at Home Park.
Hardie's second half penalty sent the home support in ecstasy, following Harvey Elliot's handball.
After the game, Hardie was interviewed by ITV Sport's Gabriel Clarke.

And the Scottish forward, 27, revealed that he was moved to tears before the game because his son was a mascot.
"I teared up in the warm-up a bit when I saw him on screen," Hardie confessed.
Hardie's strike left Liverpool's hopes of winning the quadruple in tatters.

By scoring from 12-yards, he banished the ghost of four years ago when he missed a penalty that would have seen Argyle take Chelsea to penalties at Stamford Bridge and sent Caoimhin Kelleher the wrong way.
