KATIE BOULTER has hinted at taking the next step in her relationship with fellow tennis ace Alex de Minaur.
The tennis power couple have been dating since 2020 and announced their engagement at the end of 2024.
But a cryptic post from the British tennis star suggests she may be getting ready to start a family.
It came after Belinda Bencic won the Abu Dhabi Open on Saturday and Madison Keys winning the Australian Open title - her maiden grand slam title - not long after getting married in November.
It was Bencic's first WTA 500 title since giving birth to her daughter, Bella, last April.
Boulter, 28, appears to have been inspired by the comeback.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Boulter jokingly suggested settling down and having kids may improve her career prospects.
She said: "Get married = win slam. Have a baby = win 500 [taking notes emoji]."
Boulter has one WTA 500 title to her name - the San Diego Open in 2024 - but is yet to land a Grand Slam.
Aussie ace De Minaur was seemingly left in the dark over the post, and delivered a tongue-in-cheek reply by saying: "You got any ideas you wanna share with me??? [laughing emoji]."
Naomi Osaka, Caroline Wozniacki, Victoria Azarenka and Kim Clijsters have all experienced success in tennis after starting a family.
Boulter and De Minaur, 25, met on the Pro Tour circuit and have been smitten ever since.
They have previously played together, reaching the second round of the mixed doubles at Wimbledon in 2023.
PLENTY of tennis stars have stayed involved in the sport since retiring.
But others pursued very different careers. Here are some of the best…
