LUKE LITTLER could join the growing list of superstar football club owners in the near future.
The 18-year-old world darts champion has revealed he would consider buying a football team with his prize money at some point down the line.
Littler became a millionaire last year as he racked up huge amounts of cash from 11 senior PDC titles and a number of lucrative sponsorship deals.
And now he is already looking at how he can invest that money in the future.
The lifelong Manchester United fan has set his eyes on buying a football club, but it won't be his beloved Red Devils.
Instead he thinks starting small with local club Warrington Town would be a wise way to buy into the world of football.

The Nuke - who is promoting Specsavers Best Worst Team campaign - revealed: "It would be an investment for myself in the coming years.
"I’ve got a local team. Warrington Town, who are in National League North… Maybe that could be an idea for the future.”
Warrington are currently 22nd in the National League North and have never gone above the sixth tier of English football.
But investment from Littler could see them shoot up the ranks the same way Wrexham have managed to climb the leagues since being taken over by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Littler wouldn't be the first non-football sports star to invest in the English game.
NFL stars Tom Brady and JJ Watt have both bought into Birmingham City and Burnley respectively.
While NBA icon LeBron James is a minority investor at Liverpool.
For now, Littler will have to focus on his darts to keep the cash flowing before he starts spending it elsewhere.
The teenage sensation was beaten by Michael van Gerwen in his first Premier League Darts match of the season on Thursday night.
Littler fell to a 5-6 defeat by MVG despite averaging an incredible 113.91.
And although he was out of the running for night one after just one match, Luke Humphries reckons Littler is still the best payer in the world at the moment.
The night one champ said : "Littler, the way he's playing is unbelievable. You're watching that game against Van Gerwen and you will be very lucky for anyone to match another game like that.
"He's by far one of the greatest darts players I've seen in my career. I'm not disrespecting myself, but I think he's the best player in the world.
"If he goes out, I'm the one to beat but he's definitely the man to beat. He plays darts at such a great pace. He smashes in the trebles and doubles.

"This is what happened to me last year. There's a target on your back, everyone wants to beat you. You average over 100 and people beat you.
"He's still the best player in the world. But for me, I know I can still play at a decent standard and still win things."
