THE Welsh Open returns for the 34th consecutive year - making it the third longest-running ranking event on the World Snooker Tour.
The huge tournament in Llandudno is the final contest of this season's Home Nations Series.
Gary Wilson arrives on the coast of North Wales as top seed after he beat Martin O'Donnell to claim the Ray Reardon trophy last year.
The Englishman enjoyed a stunning tournament in 2024, hitting a 147 during his semi-final clash with John Higgins before taking home the huge £80,000 jackpot.
Many stars remain in the conversation for the Home Nations bonus, with the race for the extra £150,000 concluding at the Welsh Open.
Neil Robertson is in pole position for the cash prize, which is given to the best performer across the four counting events.
