Man Utd 2-1 Leicester LIVE RESULT: Maguire’s controversial last gasp winner sends Red Devils into fifth round – reaction

MANCHESTER UNITED have beaten Leicester 2-1 to progress to the FA Cup fifth round.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid broke the deadlock on 42 minutes, nodding in from close range after Wilfred Ndidi's goalbound shot was blocked.
Joshua Zirkzee came off the bench to equalise for the Red Devils in the second half - tapping in from eight yards out.
With seconds to go, Harry Maguire was the hero for United, scoring a bullet header to give the Red Devils a 2-1 lead.
The last-gasp difference maker was clouded with controversy as the centre-back appeared to be in an offside position when Bruno Fernandes swung in the cross.
However, VAR is not used until the fifth round of the FA Cup this season, so the goal stood, and United advanced to the next round.

44 - Manchester United 0-1 Leicester
One minute added on as Leicester get themselves another chance just before the break.
A free kick from the left 35 yards from goal but doesn't trouble the United defence this time.
GOAL DETAIL
Absolutely no surprises to see Leicester scoring first, right before half time.
The seventh time in eight home matches they've conceded first and Ruben Amorim shakes his head on the touchline.
But this is the side HE has picked and this formation clearly isn't suiting this group of players.
So much so, Ugarte loses the ball in the left back spot and El Khannouss picks it up in the left corner.
He cuts it back superbly well and despite having FIVE at the back AND a sitting midfielder, the cut back to the 12 yards out finds Ndidi in acres of room.
His strike at goal is well saved by Onana but it bounces out and off De Cordova-Reid who nods it in from a couple of yards out.
41 - GOAL!! Manchester United 0-1 LEICESTER
BOBBY DE CORDOVA-REID opens the scoring to silence Old Trafford!
Sums it up a bit
The majority of the passes backward. The only one forward being incomplete.
Just nowhere near enough energy in the team tonight and it's filtering onto the pitch from the stands.
36 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Huge groans around the ground again as Mainoo has Amad sprinting forward in acres of room down the right but opts to cut back and pass 20 yards backwards to Maguire again.
Nobody willing to take a chance in red as of yet.
34 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
From the sublime to the rotten.
Thomas this time has a dead ball opportunity, near the touchline on the left and sends the ball into the box, far too long, far too high and it ends up going straight out for a throw-in on the opposite side.
32 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Crowd getting restless as the ball continues to be passed sideways and backwards from the middle of the park.
They have a brief chance to counter there and move the ball quickly from midfield to attack where Amad finds Mainoo inside the box but his touch is rubbish and Leicester get enough bodies back around him to clear.
30 - Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Good counter from Leicester there as Ayew manages to drive 30 yards down the left.
He turns back on it to find Thomas, who sends in a fabulous cross towards the six-yard box and it's headed behind for a Foxes corner.
From Martin Blackburn at Old Trafford
A confident start by the visitors despite their Premier League woes and it is Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Foxes who have had the better chances.
Even so United fans will be heartened by the link up between new boy Patrick Dorgu and Amad Diallo.
Those two have looked the most likely for the Red Devils.
28 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
We've no VAR in this game and you wouldn't notice as there's been nothing of note of any sort of discussion.
That will change though and this will be a terrific tie in the end.
24 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Nearly a clever free kick from Fernandes this time.
He's 40 yards from goal when he bends a clever pass into the box for the run of Hojlund but he can't get on the end of it as it skips through to the keeper.
Not much to shout about
Almost identical stats across the board as we hit the midway point of the first half.
It's yet to catch fire, I'll say. And keep my actual thoughts on the start of this game quietly to myself.
23 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Fernandes' corner hits the first man.
But he gets another go and tries to pick out Amad again, who in turn lays it off for Dorgu 22 yards from goal but his right-footed strike is always rising and flies over.
22 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Fernandes takes it short for Amad 22 yards from goal but his strike at goal is blocked and away for a corner.
They just seem to be making some daft decisions in the final third, that being one of them. A great chance to put it on top of the keeper.
21 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Dorgu tries to work a one-two in the right wing area for Man Utd but his run is blocked off by Thomas.
Free kick United, 17 yards from the byline on the right side of the pitch and a terrific opportunity to at least test the keeper.
19 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
The corner comes to nothing, too.
18 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Great ball down the United right evades Thomas and Dorgu is in.
It does look like the ball goes out but the assistant plays on and Dorgu has loads of room to run into.
He tries to cut it back for Amad using his right foot but that's cut out for a corner. Good work to get there but really poor final ball and the issue having two left footed players attacking down the right.
15 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
United seemed to press Leicester quite high in the opening minutes, at one stage with the front five pressing the back line and Foxes midfield.
But the visitors were allowed uncontested possession for about 90 seconds there.
I'm not sure why that would be the case.
13 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
El Khannouss with the chance to put a cross in from a dead ball from the Leicester right.
He was given the big build-up before hitting the first man.
12 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Leicester break after a poor pass in midfield sees them latch onto possession.
Thomas nudges it forward for Ayew who drives down the left and feeds a low pass into Daka's feet inside the box but good strength from Maguire sees him swat aside the striker and Diallo wins a free kick on the edge of the area.
9 – Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Ugarte tries to drill a cross into the Leicester area after good work between Diallo and Dorgu.
That attempt takes a flick off a Leicester head on the way in and loops kindly for the keeper to collect.
6 - Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Yeah Leicester definitely settling into this the better of the two.
Another long pass forward bends beautifully between Maguire and Yoro and Daka latches onto it 22 yards from goal.
He has his back to goal so lays it off to Ayew who strikes from 25 yards towards the top corner but Onana reads it all the way and moves quickly to keep it out comfortably in the end.
4 - Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Leicester have started brightly enough.
Justin clips a ball down the channel and Yoro looks to be in charge of it before Daka nicks it off his toes.
The move breaks down but it's an attacking throw-in for the Foxes.
2 - Manchester United 0-0 Leicester
Dorgu is playing on the right in that wing-back role.
He's involved inside 90 seconds with a foul right in front of Van Nistelrooy. Chance for Leicester to flood the box nice and early but the hosts deal with that comfortably.
