LUKE LITTLER believes Manchester United made a mistake by selling Scott McTominay.
The midfielder departed Old Trafford in the summer and joined Napoli for £25million.
And he's been a revelation in Serie A, earning rave reviews with Napoli top of the league.
McTominay, 28, has scored six goals and produced four assists in 22 games, and United fan Littler thinks his departure was a big one.
Speaking on on deadline day, Littler said: "One of the big ones that we let go was Scott McTominay. That was one of the biggest sales that we have made."
Asked if he thought that was a mistake, Littler replied: "I think it was. Look at what him and [Romelu] Lukaku are doing over in Napoli."

Littler also discussed Marcus Rashford's loan switch to Aston Villa, and he thinks it could be a good move for the forward.
But he seemed less supportive of the idea of Rashford leaving permanently.
He said: "If he goes in the summer to a different club it is going to feel weird.
"I've seen him on his debut in the Europa League, his debut against Arsenal, and it's going to feel weird if he does go permanently."
