Why are Man Utd and Crystal Palace players wearing black armbands?

Both clubs are paying their respects to the 23 people who tragically lost their lives in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster.

The darkest moment in Man Utd's history claimed the lives of eight United players and three officials.

Before United's match with Crystal Palace, fans gathered outside the stadium to remember those who had died.

Both managers, Ruben Amorim and Oliver Glasner laid wreaths on the side of the pitch before the match.
