JAMES WADE admits he's "failed miserably" to get himself back among the big boys of darts.
The Aldershot hotshot defiantly vowed to recapture his form of old and return to the top ten in November 2023.
After a thrilling 10-8 win over Chris Dobey, he roared: "I'll be back in the top ten.
"Everyone else, worry about themselves and I'll worry about myself - and I will be."

Reflecting on the last year, the 41-year-old fan favourite said: "I failed miserably, you know.

Wade, however, isn't giving up hope of making good on his vow to get back to in amongst the thick of things and compete for trophies.
He continued: "I believe I'm good enough and I believe that with a little bit of luck, the tide will turn."
He later said: "I still think it's laughable that people don't think I can win things, what will be will be.
"I still think I'll win TV majors and I don't see any reason why not."
Wade booked his place in the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters on Friday night with a 3-2 win over World Grand Prix winner Mike De Decker.
Ahead of the match, he debuted some new dance moves.
His reward for beating De Decker is a quarter-final clash with 2025 World Championship winner Luke Littler.
