That combination once again and Forest are cruising to joint-second in the table!

Elanga ends up in a 1v1 with Dunk on the Forest right, with the Seagulls skipper towing a caravan chasing him back.

Elanga smashes a terrific ball across the six-yards box, evading the three defenders trying to get a touch and CHRIS WOOD is there to tap home into an empty net from a yard or two out.

  • Newcastle vs Fulham - 3pm

A chance for Newcastle to climb into the top four with victory over Fulham.

The Magpies have a huge game in midweek but can't afford to take their eyes off it this afternoon.

Especially to a Fulham side that have won two of their last three on the road and will put themselves in the European picture with victory.

  • Ipswich vs Southampton - 3pm

A HUGE game at the bottom of the table with 19th and 20th facing off.

Both sides arrive here losing three games on the bounce - Ipswich conceding 12 in that run and Saints losing nine goals.

    Must-win, then...

  • From Phil Thomas at the City Ground

Morgan Gibbs-White is having an absolute blast on his 100th Forest appearance – one goal, one assist and one hell of an all-round display.

Inch-perfect crossfield passes, bullet headers into the corner, laid-back lobs to tee up team-mates. No wonder Brighton resorted to yanking his shirt to try and stop him.

Don’t let anyone tell you Forest are not the real deal…Nuno has a PROPER team on his hands here. Game over already barring a miracle.

  • HT - Nottm Forest 3-0 Brighton

Forest look like climbing onto the same points as Arsenal today.

They're cruising at half time thanks to Gibbs-White, Wood and an own goal at the break.

Brighton a threat going forward. Absolutely atrocious at the back.

  • Everton vs Leicester - 3pm

It's 16th vs 17th at Goodison though Everton have a six-point cushion - and game in hand - over Leicester going into their game.

David Moyes' rejuvenated side are looking to make it three wins on the spin and kick themselves well clear of trouble with a win.

But Ruud van Nistelrooy's Foxes arrive here off the back of a terrific win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to keep them well in the hunt.

  • 38 - Nottm Forest 3-0 Brighton

    Off the bar!

Brighton haven't half had their chances, incredibly.

Welbeck collects the pass 22 yards from goal and bends a terrific strike towards the top corner. It hits the underside of the bar and down and away. Simon Hooper checks his watch and confirms it DOESN'T cross the line.

Sels might've even got the slightest of touches to that. Sensational save if so.

  • GOAL DETAIL: Nottm Forest 3-0 Brighton

    It IS three.

Again it comes from Elanga who finds himself down the right and works room to deliver a cross into the box.

Chris Wood is somehow left himself by this toiling Brighton defence and he gets his header on target and Verbruggen scrambles across but can't keep it out.

VAR did check for offside for a little while before confirming he was on by about three yards.

Incredible half hour or so from the hosts.

  • VAR CHECK

    Hang on, they're checking it....

  • 32 - GOAL!! NOTTINGHAM FOREST 3-0 Brighton

Forest absolutely cruising and CHRIS WOOD gets his goal!

  • 28 – Nottm Forest 2-0 Brighton

Big save from Sels as Minteh bears down on goal.

He opens his foot up the Brighton winger and tries to go under the keeper but for Sels to keep it out with his backside.

  • GOAL DETAIL: Nottm Forest 2-0 Brighton

All so simple for the home side to double their lead.

It's an Elanga corner from the left, whipped wickedly in towards the near post and GIBBS-WHITE gets across the front post to flick it on target and beyond the keeper into the net.

Strong start from Forest but Brighton really aren't helping themselves.

  • 25 - GOAL!! NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2-0 Brighton

A terrific header from MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE has Forest in command!

  • From Phil Thomas at the City Ground

Prolific isn’t a word that generally springs to mind where Lewis Dunk is concerned…but when it comes to own goals he certainly is.

The Brighton centre back hasn’t put the ball in the opposition net for 12 month, but broke the deadlock at the City Ground with the SEVENTH Premier League own goal.

It took him level with Phil Jagielka and Liverpool duo Jamie Carrahger and Martin Skrtel. Only Richard Dunne, with ten, has more. Forest now joint second as it stands…

  • 20 - Nottm Forest 1-0 Brighton

Jack Hinshelwood with a strong challenge on Morgan Gibbs-White in the middle of the park and he's been shown a yellow card.

The third of the game handed out by Simon Hooper already in this game....
