They weren't kidding about the confidence of Bournemouth. They have been at it from kick off.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has made two errors leading to shots on goal and Antoine Semenyo has hit the post.

Yet Liverpool could have taken the lead through Dominik Szboszlai, only for Kepa to make the best save so far of an open game.

  • 21 - GOAL!! Ipswich 0-1 SOUTHAMPTON

A massive goal near the midway point of the first half and it's JOE ARIBO for the visitors!

But the keep HAS to be doing better!

It's well worked by the Saints down the right and when a low cross is blocked, it spins into the path of Aribo who strikes a volley into the ground and on target.

It's not in the corner and Muric dives and flaffs at it trying to scoop it out, only pushing it into the top corner.

Huge goal for Southampton in that battle of the basement sides.

  • 19 - Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool

Blisteringly quick start from Bournemouth in this game but Liverpool have just registered their first effort on target there.

Gravenberch picks out Gakpo with a switch and he drives towards goal before getting his shot away. Kepa keeps it out comfortably.

  • 16 - Newcastle 0-0 Fulham

Not much happening at St James' Park in the early stages.

But Joachim Andersen was just ensuring that Alexander Isak was going nowhere fast there with a bodycheck which earns him a yellow card.

  • Fast start

Just the two goals from the one game but it was a rapid start.

The BBC saying the Doucoure goal at 10.18s was the fourth-fastest goal in Premier League history

  • 6 - GOAL!! EVERTON 2-0 Leicester

The hosts are flying early doors - BETO with the second already!

Remarkable stuff but this Leicester defending would have them struggling in the Championship.

Tarkowski under no pressure on halfway is able to pick out a decent ball over the top of a high Foxes line for Beto to run into and inside the area.

He has Ndiaye to pick out with a pass for a tap in but goes for goal himself and finds the far bottom corner. Great start for them.

  • 1 - GOAL!! EVERTON 1-0 Leicester

We're already up and running just SECONDS into the game as ABDOULAYE DOUCOURE scores for Everton!

Nine seconds it looks like as Jordan Pickford just punts one forward from midway inside the Everton half.

It's aimed towards Beto but neither he nor the defender gets a touch and it's allowed to bounce into the box where Doucoure runs unchallenged to take a touch a pass beyond the keeper.

    Incredible start for the Toffees.

  • KICK-OFF!

Here we go then, the 3pm games are all up and running!

    • Bournemouth vs Liverpool
    • Everton vs Leicester
    • Ipswich vs Southampton
    • Newcastle vs Fulham
  • Heading out

The teams across the 3pm kick-offs are starting to make their way out in our four games.

Plenty of twists and turns to come and four really important games to come....

  • From Gary Stonehouse at St James' Park

We are seconds away from kick off at St James’ and hopefully we’re in for plenty of goals.

The Magpies, winners in seven of their last eight Prem matches, have found the net 22 times during that run.

That has them dreaming of a return to Champions League football but opponents Fulham have European hopes also.

  • From Dan King at the Vitality Stadium

Vitality insiders say they have never observed Bournemouth's players feeling more confident before facing a top-of-the-table team than they are today.

And why not? Andoni Iraola's team have beaten Arsenal, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest here.

Liverpool are back to full strength after a second string fell to the third defeat of Arne Slot's debut season.

The Reds have seven full internationals on their bench. If the game is decided by changes, you still fancy them to win. But they will really have their work cut out.

Huge game for both Ipswich and Southampton and a draw is not really much use for either.

Aro Muric returns in goal for the Tractor Boys as keeper Christian Walton has a groin injury and he will be out for up to six weeks.

  • FT from Phil Thomas at the City Ground

They announced hat-trick scoring Chris Wood as man of the match minutes before the end, an award picked by one of Forest’s main sponsors for the afternoon.

To everyone else inside the City Ground, though, there was only one winner – and it wasn’t the three-goal Kiwi.

Morgan Gibbs-White will never enjoy such a faultless performance if he plays until he’s 50. It’s safe to say the honeymoon is over for Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler…seven goals that could easily have been double figures.

    Nottingham Forest 7-0 Brighton

Their best top-flight victory in 34 years, Forest. What a way to respond to a thumping last week.

    Brighton....yuk.

Forest move level on points with Arsenal!

  • 90+4 - Nottm Forest 7-0 Brighton

    It could be eight!

This Brighton defending is bordering on disgraceful.

Jota Silva is picked out inside the box with nobody within 10 yards of him. He smashes it across goal, missing the back post by a yard and his team-mates by a couple of yards.

  • GOAL(s) DETAIL - Nottm Forest 7-0 Brighton

An absolutely outrageous game of football.

Awoniyi looked like making it six when chopping inside on his left foot before Verbruggen made a save - no genuinely, he did.

It fell out to Sangare who fell on the ball and it sat perfectly for Nico Williams to smash into the top corner for six.

Moments later, Verbruggen has the ball at his feet and in trying to pass it out, he passes straight to JOTA SILVA on the edge of the box who takes a touch into the box with just the keeper to beat and rolls it by him.

    7-0. Jeez.

  • 90+1 - GOAL!! NOTTM FOREST 7-0 Brighton

Brighton have chucked it here. A howler from Verbruggen as JOTA SILVA makes it 7 (SEVEN).

  • 88 - GOAL!! NOTTM FOREST 6-0 Brighton

Forest have SIX - and it's NICO WILLIAMS who has it!

  • 80 - Nottm Forest 5-0 Brighton

Double change for Forest as hat trick hero Chris Wood receives a splendid ovation and huge hug from his manager.

  • From Phil Thomas at the City Ground

Just when it had all gone so quiet…two rapid-fired counter punches by Forest and a hat-trick for Chris Wood.

After mopping up what little Brighton could chuck at them, Wood slid in his second from bang in front, then made it a treble from the spot when Morgan Gibbs-White was wrestled to the ground.

But Woods still had to play second fiddle to skipper Gibbs-White, who will never play a more faultless game in his life.

  • 72 - Nottm Forest 5-0 Brighton

Another change for Fabian Hurzeler on a bad day for him.

Evan Ferguson comes on it what will likely be his last appearance before a move in this window.

  • 69 - GOAL!! NOTTM FOREST 5-0 Brighton

    Demolition complete.

Chris Wood sends Verbruggen the wrong way from the spot to secure his hat trick with 20 minutes to play.

Sensational response to last week's thumping.
