Not sure....
This one might well be spoken about for a bit of time yet....
The pass from Bailey to McGinn is fine, as is the finish.
But it's ruled out as Rogers is in an offside position and goes near Semedo and is adjudged to have stopped the Wolves skipper from being able to stop that cross.
A bit controversial I reckon...
And for Don Goodman on co-comms on Sky who said: "They are ruling it out on the basis that Morgan Rogers impeded Semedo with his run. In my opinion he doesn't impact him.
"That's a real surprise for me and something the referee should have been sent to the monitor to look at."
GOOOOOOO - NO!
It's actually a really well-worked free kick as it's played into the channel for McGinn.
He flashes it across goal and Malen taps into an empty net.
51 - Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Strong running from Morgan Rogers towards the edge of the Wolves box.
He commits two defenders and eventually Matt Doherty barges him over.
Around 22 yards from goal, on the left of centre and a huge chance for Villa to at least test the keeper.
From Graeme Bryce at Molineux
Wolves have bossed the first half and the only regret Vitor Pereira will have is his side haven't added at least a couple more when they had Villa on the ropes.
Unai Emery has seen enough and makes FOUR changes at half-time.
Worryingly for Villa one of them is Ollie Watkins, who picked up a knock in a first-half clash with Jose Sa and has run his race.
KICK-OFF!
Back underway at Molineux.
Second half
The players return for the second half and Unai Emery isn't messing around.
The Villa boss making FOUR changes at the interval.
- OFF: Garcia, Watkins, Ramsey & Digna
- ON: Onana, Maatsen, Bailey & Malen
Discomfort
How's your timing?
Ollie Watkins looks to be struggling as he hobbles off at the break.
He took a bit of a knock in the last five minutes but did play on. One of the Villa staff met him on his way off and he looks in a bit of trouble.
Super-sub Jhon Duran is away picking out new curtains for his Bahraini home.
45+4 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Straight into the arms of Martinez.
45+3 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Guedes just isn't a finisher, is he!?
He's slipped into the box by a wonderful Cunha pass. Again, Guedes breaks the line with a terrific run but this time as Martinez rushes off his line, his finish is just straight at the keeper.
It does go behind for a corner, though...
45+2 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Probably just as well there have been as many bookings as there has been, to give us something to talk about.
This time Lamare Bogarde slides in - though looks like he might've slipped in the process - on halfway and he's late into the challenge.
The referee is right there and the yellow card is straight out.
45 - Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Four minutes added.
43 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Another tremendous chance for Wolves comes and goes!
Bellegarde with the ball on halfway picks out a fabulous through-ball which splits the Villa defence and Guedes is clean through.
He's on the left-side of the area and goes for the far corner with his left foot, dragging it a yard wide with just the keeper to beat!
From Graeme Bryce at Molineux
Unai Emery hadn't lost a Premier League match against a team in the drop zone in 18 matches with Villa.
But it didn't take long for that record to look in jeopardy as Wolves made an early breakthrough after 12 minutes.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde marked his 50th appearance for Wolves as he bagged his first goal at Molineux, smashing the ball beyond Emi Martinez from nine yards
Villa's Champions League hangover has surfaced again.
37 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Two more quickfire Aston Villa corners as Wolves are quite fortunate to deal with the first.
The second is headed to Kamara at the edge of the box but his effort is terrible, skied into the air and Sa comes out to collect.
He and Watkins collide as play stops again for the pair.
35 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
How on EARTH have Wolves not scored there!!?
Kamara is caught dawdling on it again at centre half and Cunha nicks it off his toes.
Cunha drives to the edge of the box with only Martinez to beat and delays his shot to steady himself but his strike is kept out by Martinez.
Guedes on the follow-up from the edge of the box volleys his effort a yard wide.
32 - Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Plenty endeavour but not much quality as things stand.
Pablo Sarabia sarcastically clapping the assistant referee sees him go in the book too as the broken up action continues.
29 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
The second booking of the half and the second for a Villa man.
Rogers has a couple of nibbles at his man when tracking back into his own half and the yellow card is shown his way.
He's not happy about it and John McGinn argues his case.
24 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Martinez just goes down and looking for some treatment ahead of the corner.
It's an issue with his hand but it doesn't look like it's troubling him too much.
Play eventually gets going with that corner which is defended comfortably once more.
22 - Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Almost an exact carbon copy as another terrific ball is sent in from the left and Sarabia again is caught on his heels.
Digne again helps it beyond for a corner.
16 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
The first - and certainly won't be the last - booking of the game comes for John McGinn.
He's late into a tackle on Ait-Bouri and just plants his studs on the foot of the Wolves man.
Yellow card adjudged to be right by VAR.
14 – Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
Villa look for an immediate response and again earn themselves successive corners.
You'd think this was an area they would have targeted but so far Wolves standing firm.
