Amorim blasted Rashford's attitude at the weekend

Rashford and Garnacho are both facing the axe at Old Trafford, with head coach Ruben Amorim open to letting them go.

If either player leaves United within the next few days, the Red Devils could attempt to sign Tel from Bayern Munich.

Sky Sports reporter claims Man Utd could enter the race for the forward in the next few days depending on outgoings.

It is understood to be an open race for him, with Chelsea also heavily linked.

It was revealed earlier this week that Tel, 19, wants to leave Bayern Munich this month.

He is allegedly prepared to assess all of his options before making a final decision on his future.

Several clubs are understood to be interested.

Meanwhile, Rashford and Garnacho have come under fire in recent months amid concerns about their attitude on and off the pitch.

Amorim blasted Rashford's lack of effort in training at the weekend and said that 63-year-old coach Jorge Vital would be more deserving of a place on the bench.

He insisted: "I’d put Vital on the bench before a player who doesn’t give the maximum every day. I’ll not change in that department.

"It’s always the same reason. The reason is the training. The way that I see what a footballer should do in training,  in life, every day.  If things don’t change, I will not change.
