  • That's a wrap!

So, it's Kyren Wilson who is your German Masters champion.

He lifted the trophy after a nail-biting 10-9 win over Barry Hawkins.

In truth, the world No2 has been the best player in the tournament this week.

    He's £100k richer too.

    Well player, Kyren.

And thank you for staying with us for our coverage.

    It's goodnight for now.

  • Wilson speaks

We both could have probably played better, but I felt like it was a really good dramatic final.

"To reiterate what Barry said, thank you so much to everyone, you made that such an amazing atmosphere to play in."

  • Hawkins reaction

I felt like I was just holding onto Kyren all day, I felt like he was playing better than me, he was the stronger player.

"In the end at 9-9 it’s anybody’s. I’ve had a great week, great crowd, great support, another good tournament so onwards and upwards. It’s been a good season so far.

"It’s a shame I didn’t get the win but Kyren deserved the win, he played better than I did."

  • Hawkins 9-10 Wilson - Wilson wins the German Masters

    And it's all over!

Kyren Wilson is the German Masters champion!

At 59-0 a plant on the red didn't quite go for the World No2. It let Hawkins in, but he then knocked a red off the black.

Barry then needed snookers at that point, and a poor safety for him let Wilson in who cleaned up.

  • Hawkins 9-9 Wilson

We're going into a tournament winning frame!

Wilson needed a snooker, it wasn't going to happen, and we're level again.

    This has been some match.

  • Hawkins 8-9 Wilson

    Wilson's within one!

Another tight frame, but this time the world No2 gets it.

    That's £100k prize is incoming.

  • Hawkins 7-8 Wilson

    Frame 15 was soooo tense!

A missed pot each from Hawkins and Wilson, as the players start to feel the pressure.

As Fergie once said, it's squeaky bum time.

    But it's Wilson who prevails!

  • Hawkins 7-7 Wilson

Well, that was a long frame.

Wilson threatened to break away, but Hawkins has stayed in there.

A flat ton for him, ends with a no-look black - which causes Wilson to chuckle.

We saw Kyren pull one of those off earlier. Fun stuff, even when they're this competitive.

  • Hawkins 6-7 Wilson

Hawkins got himself level in frame 12.

It was an edgy affair, however a big blue to the left corner, pink and black saw him snatch it.

But Wilson bit back immediately - and looked unstoppable in frame 13.

A run of 125! Not shabby at all. We go into a 15-minute interval.

  • Hawkins 5-6 Wilson

Wilson's coming out firing in the evening session.

He's now taken the first two frames to get his nose ahead once more, in this topsy turvy contest.

Wilson's playing with such freedom out there, although he must've had a heart attack when a pink just about wobbled in.

  • Hawkins 5-5 Wilson

    And he's level.

Brilliant from Wilson, who takes frame 10 in this tight contest.

However, humorously he has a problem with his tip which he shows to Hawkins and the ref.

    Any excuse these days!

  • And we're underway again!

    This should be good.

Hawkins takes a 5-4 lead into the evening session, but there's all to play for.

Wilson won't give up on this in a hurry. It's intriguing, to say the least.
