Four months ago he was even named in the Red Rose's "Elite Player Squad".

His dad Kenny, 53, famously played for Scotland 70 times between 1992 and 2003.

And back-row Reuben is now set to follow suit.

The Northampton Saints ace has been named in Scotland's squad for the Under-20 Six Nations.

Head coach Kenny Murray will now be able to call on the highly-rated youngster as part of his 34-man squad.

Scotland's campaign is set to kick off on January 31 when they welcome Italy to Edinburgh's Hive Stadium.

Logan made his senior debut for Northampton last September in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

He then went on to earn his first start in November.
