Pogba 'could be 'one of Utd's best players'
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has been advised to make a sensational swoop for Paul Pogba when his drugs ban is up in two months.
Pogba, 31, is in his second spell with Juventus after two stints with United.
The Frenchman’s career has been in limbo since he failed a doping test, which saw him given a four-year suspension reduced to 18 months on appeal.
But unemployed Pogba – who has been linked to Fulham – teased fans by posting a cartoon drawing of himself in a Man Utd kit next to Ivory Coast winner Amad Diallo.
And then another image of him overlooking Miami from a skyscraper with the caption: “Let’s see what’s coming.”
Louis Saha, a two-time Premier League winner with United, told : “When he is fit and firing, he could go into the Manchester United squad and become one of the best players quite quickly.
“There are a handful of players that really excite me. Amad excites me. Neymar excites me. Pogba excites me.

Duran deal means no Bon voyage...
Jhon Duran's imminent switch to Al Nassr appears to have wrecked the same move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface.
Sky in Germany report Leverkusen's sporting director Simon Rolfes as saying Boniface's £46m transfer to the Saudi big spenders is almost certainly now off.
The Nigerian, 24 had even had a medical with Cristiano Ronaldo's club.
But Al Nassr are reportedly focusing instead on an even more costly move - for Aston Villa's Duran.

Duran tipped for Al Nassr medical
Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is set for a medical with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr.
The Colombian has reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a £65million blockbuster move to the Saudi Pro League.
Duran's Saudi switch appears to end Arsenal's hopes of bringing England striker Ollie Watkins to the Emirates.
The Gunners tabled an audacious £60m bid for the Villa forward on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Duran has penned a five-and-a-half-year deal in Saudi.
The 21-year-old - who joined Unai Emery's side from Chicago Fire in 2023 - only signed a new contract in October.

The Israel winger, 25, was loaned to the Championship promotion hopefuls in the summer after being ravaged by injury in his first season at Spurs last term.
But he has proved his fitness and quality at Leeds, netting five times in 22 appearances during the first half of the season.
It has led to some Spurs fans wondering whether the North Londoners could cut his loan short this month, given their injuries and lack of progress in the transfer market.
Ange Postecoglou was without 14 players for Thursday’s 3-2 win over Hoffenheim in the Europa League, with attackers Dominic Solanke, Wilson Odobert, Timo Werner all currently sidelined.
Tottenham have signed just one player in January - 21-year-old goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky - and Postecoglou has even admitted there is a chance that could be it for incomings this month.
But SunSport understands Solomon, who joined Spurs on a free transfer in summer 2023, is set to stay at Elland Road for the remainder of the campaign.

Spurs in for Bayern starlet
Tottenham are weighing up a late loan move for Bayern Munich whizkid Mathys Tel, writes TOM BARCLAY.
But the North Londoners face competition from a number of clubs including Manchester United.

He has only started two games in the Bundesliga this term, coming on six times, and failing to score.
The Frenchman looks set to be farmed out by the German giants before Monday’s transfer deadline.
And Spurs, who have been looking for a versatile forward all window, are in the mix to borrow him.

Brighton ready to sell Ferguson
Evan Ferguson could be sold this month - if Brighton get the fee they want.
Arsenal, West Ham and Leicester have been linked with the striker, 20.
Ferguson's fortunes have fallen away this season, not helped by an ankle injury.

But he's made just two Prem starts this campaign.
And his sole goal so far in 2024-25 came against Wolves in October.

The 30-year-old is thought to have accepted a four-year offer with Atlanta.
Duran 'on brink of huge Al-Nassr move'
Aston Villa's in-demand striker Jhon Duran could be close to joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr - as suggested by The Sun earlier.
Transfer expert claims the Saudi big-spenders are "on the verge of reaching verbal agreement" with Villa for the West Ham target.
Romano reckons the fee will be around 75million euros (£62m) with add-ons.
Chelsea were also linked with the Colombian 21-year-old over the summer.
And the Hammers are also said to be once more monitoring Duran.
The former Chicago Fire star reportedly grew frustrated with often being just a sub for Unai Emery's Villa.
But Emery would still love to keep him.
Leverkusen bag Buendia
Emi Buendia is off to Bayer Leverkusen on loan for the rest of the season.
The Argentinian midfielder, 28, extended his contract at Aston Villa despite failing to start a Prem match this season.

And he's now switched temporarily to Xabi Alonso's Bundesliga champions.
Buendia arrived at Villa Park from Norwich in 2021.
