Transfer news LIVE – Deadline Day latest: Man Utd DESPERATE to strengthen, Arsenal & Newcastle Kluivert race, Tel U-TURN

DEADLINE DAY is FINALLY HERE as the January transfer window rapidly heads towards a frantic finale at 11pm TONIGHT!

Late on Sunday night, Marcus Rashford completed his loan to Aston Villa until the end of the season.

The Manchester United forward, 27, agreed the temporary switch after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim - but Villa will have the option to BUY the Red Devils academy graduate come the end of the season.

United are also eyeing up a late swoop for Leon Bailey from Villa to replace Rashford, while Arsenal and Newcastle are now in a race to sign Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert.

  • Villa's Bade move stalls

Aston Villa’s move for Sevilla defender Loic Bade is stalling because of a disagreement over the fee.

Sevilla are believed to want £21m up front for the French centre back, plus £4m in achievable add-ons.

But Villa are - for now at least - unwilling to meet the La Liga club’s demands.

Reports in Spain say Sevilla regard Bade, 24, as their most bankable asset and are determined to hold out for the best possible deal.

The club needs to pay off some of its huge debts but also wants to have enough cash left over from a Bade exit to secure a decent replacement.

Liverpool and Newcastle have also shown interest in the centre half so Sevilla will try to stick to their guns.

  • United offered Osimhen 'discount'

Manchester United have been offered a cut-price deal to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen in the summer.

That is as long as they agree to sell Alejandro Garnacho to the Partenopei for a more attainable price.

According to Sky Sports, Garnacho has reached an agreement to join Napoli during the January transfer window.

However, the Red Devils haven't given the green light on a transfer that would see manager Ruben Amorim losing one of his best players amid a turbulent campaign.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli have tried to sweeten the deal by adding Osimhen into their bid.

The Italian outfit have offered Man Utd a "discount" to sign the €75million (£63.4m)-rated striker, who is currently out on loan at Galatasaray, ahead of the summer transfer window.

That is only if the Manchester giants do the same with Garnacho this month.

  • Elliot explains celebration

Harvey Elliott has explained that his celebration during Liverpool's 2-1 win last night was to show that he is going nowhere.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield this month after struggling for game time.

But he's made it crystal clear that he doesn't plan on packing his bags any time soon.

I think it's pretty clear to be honest... I'm not leaving. I said it in an interview the other day, this is my team.

This is my club. I'm a massive fan and we're in a great position this season.
