Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor – Misfits Boxing 20 LIVE RESULT: Taylor breaks silence after worrying collapse – updates

MISFITS Boxing kicked off the new year with a blockbuster card in Manchester!

In the huge main event, former UFC fighter Darren Till brutally knocked out Anthony Taylor in round six.

Taylor collapsed as he left the ring in worrying scenes and received oxygen following the defeat.

Earlier in the night, BGMedia royalty Little T and Afghan Dan ended their long-standing rivalry in the ring.

The bout ended abruptly after Afghan Dan dislocated his shoulder, which handed a TKO win to Little T.

Also on the night, Misfits Boxing CEO KSI revealed that he will face former Premier League footballer Wayne Bridge in his next fight on March 29.

  • Taylor's dig at Fury

    MISFITS BOXING star Anthony Taylor aimed a brutal dig at Tommy Fury after losing to Darren Till.

    Fury was due to fight Till at Misfits 20 in Manchester but he pulled out after the ex-UFC star threatened to KICK him in the head.

    So Taylor filled in on a months notice but was stopped in six rounds following three knockdowns.

    And afterwards, he posted online: "Now we know why Tommy Fury pulled out."

    Fury - who beat Taylor on points in 2021 - is yet to announce his next fight after withdrawing against Till.

  • Taylor speaks out

    Most worrying moment of the night came after Darren Till knocked out Anthony Taylor.

    As AT left the ring, he collapsed and medics had to rush to him, carting him to the dressing rooms in a wheelchair.

    Thankfully, after getting checked out at hospital, he's okay.

  • Fighting talk from Carla Jade

    Carla Jade defended her belt with a draw against Melanie Shah.

    But now she wants all the talk to stop and if Melanie or former opponent Nikki Hru want a rematch, she will happily oblige.

    "I’ve been quite vocal in saying I want to rematch Melanie and NOW," she wrote on social media.

    "They can either set a date, or spend their time crying on socials. It’s literally boring now so I’ll wait for them to accept. I’m going back to enjoying my family, work and boxing."

  • Till slams Fury

    After Tommy Fury pulled out of a fight with Darren Till, the Scouser was unforgiving with his assessment of the Love Island star.

    When asked what Fury would think of his demolition job of Anthony Taylor, Till was far from complimentary about the boxer's IQ.

    He said: "I don’t know if he’s got a brain to think."

    Till believes Fury cancelled their fight (scheduled for Misfits Boxing 20) because he heard how well he was doing in sparring.

  • Little T calls out Beavo

    After Little T's win over BGMedia rival Afghan Dan, he called out TikTok sensation Beavo for a future Misfits bout.

    Speaking to Misfits Boxing's media crew, he said: "Beavo, I took your fight, you probably jumped out of it. I want you, bro. Teeth on teeth. Let's do it.

    "He called me out last year when I was in Benidorm. He said he wanted me a fight on Misfits, so let's get it done bro."

  • Paul mocks KSI

    Jake Paul's team were quick to join fans in mocking KSI for announcing a fight against Wayne Bridge.

    And while fans spoke out in outrage online, Paul's Most Valuable Promotions were not far behind.

    They posted on X: "Is it April Fools Day?"

    And they followed it up with an Instagram post of Paul with the caption: "There is only 1 King of the land."

  • Afghan Dan’s horror injury

    While there were some great bouts, there were also some horror moments at Misfits Boxing 20 last night.

    And it didn’t get any more shocking than when Afghan Dan popped his shoulder out during his bout with Little T in the second round.

    All he did was throw a punch and out it went, and the fight was over.

    He looked in agony after the incident but was able to stay in the ring as Little T was named the winner.

  • Bridge hits back

    Wayne Bridge has hit back at KSI's comments about John Terry at Misfits 20 last night.

    He told Boxing Social: "I think that's just him, innit?

    "It's the cameras, what he does, put him in a room on your own he probably doesn't do it, something could happen."

  • Fans slam KSI

    KSI has been slammed by fans after his brutal jibe at Wayne Bridge about John Terry.

    One posted: "KSI this is absolutely terrible. This has to be a joke."

    A second commented: "KSI took it too far there."

    Another added: "Embarrassing."

  • Till wants UFC return

    Before his huge win at Misfits, Darren Till admitted he would love a return to the UFC.

    He told talkSPORT: “I relish the thought of coming back to the UFC.

    “We’ll see, obviously. For now, it’s team Misfits, but there’s always a path. There’s always a way back. There’s always: when there’s a will there’s a way. Definitely.

    “I always said to them: ‘Look, if it ever comes back around, I’ll always join you if you have me.’

    “As I said, they like me. So who knows, in a few years, if that vibe’s happening again, we’ll see. It’s all baby steps, isn’t it?

    “All the time. We’re all just trying to have a go at it.”

  • Afghan Dan will be back

    After another match Afghan Dan has insisted on social media he will be back in the ring despite his horror shoulder injury against Little T.

    He wrote: “Been a madness !!! 😭

    “And F all the haters.

    “You try getting in a ring for three minutes ha ha it ain’t easy, I’ll be back though so don’t watch that.

    “Going home to train and invest my money in a new home studio 😎 album on its way skibbidybap!”

    Wayne Bridge had to be pulled apart from KSI after he received a brutal John Terry jibe.

    The former Chelsea and Manchester City defender was attending Misfits 20 when the YouTuber-turned-boxer hit out at him.

    Misfits co-founder KSI, 31, was in the ring when he called out Bridge.

    The retired footballer made his way into the ring to confront his rival.

    But before Bridge could say anything KSI made a brutal jibe at Bridge's previous relationship with Vanessa Perroncel.

    While Chelsea team-mates Bridge and Terry famously fell out over allegations that Terry had an affair with Bridge's then partner, Vanessa, in 2009, which she has denied.

  • A Bridge too far?

    KSI's next fight was announced in the ring last night for March 29...and it will be against ex-Prem footballer Wayne Bridge!

    KSI called out anyone for his next opponent, and former Man City and Chelsea left-back Bridge, 44, answered the call.

    Bridge has some boxing experience, having fought Spencer Matthews for Sport Aid in 2018.

    He did well to take it six rounds but some big hits throughout.

    AT bloodied Till in one round but that was as good as it got for him.

    Till managed to find the formula to put him away as the fight was stopped.

  • From mic to ring for Wade

    Wade Plemons made his Misfits debut this evening.

    Nobody was expecting anything from him in terms of ability but he shocked everyone, including KSI.

    Having had only five weeks training camp, he looked impressive, landing a lot of big hits on the jaw of the Masai Warrior.

    Plemons was flagging in the fourth cardio-wise and he to see it out for a deserved unanimous decision with the judges.
