TORTURED SOUL (2.55 Lingfield, nap)
He had loads in hand when scoring at Wolverhampton 11 days ago and is effectively 3lb better off at the weights because rider Jack Doughty can use his claim unlike that apprentices’ race. He likes this trip and track and clocked up a sequence of wins this time last season.
MONSIEUR BEAULIEU (1.45 Lingfield, nb)
Has a cracking record around here and went close again last time from a bad draw. He’s in a better stall today and can close from the same handicap mark.
H KEY LAILS (3.25 Lingfield, treble)
Had been threatening to win for a while and got his head well in front here last time out. A 4lb rise gives him every chance over the same trip.
BRUNEL CHARM (11.45 Lingfield)
Didn’t get much luck in running when third at Kempton last time. He is back from the same mark over a course and distance he likes.
