Kyren Wilson 4-7 Shaun Murphy (14-9)
Well, what a miss by Wilson.
He seemed to do all the hard work, fashioning shots from difficult positions but then gets a fairly simple black into the middle of wrong as it clips the knuckle and misses.
This is a huge chance for Murphy to take the last frame before the interval.
Kyren Wilson 4-7 Shaun Murphy (0-9)
The last frame before the mid-session interval is a nervy one.
Despite all bar one of the reds being spread out on the table, both players are trying to play safety shots to test their opponent.
Wilson puts in a long red and has a real chance of amassing a break now.
Kyren Wilson 3-7 Shaun Murphy (101-0)
A break of 95 gives Wilson his highest of this final.
The brown proved to be a problem and as he tried to get position on the cue ball for the blue, it nestled behind the pink to snooker him.
Either way, he claws another frame back.

Fantastic stuff from Shaun Murphy.

That will help Murphy after losing the first frame of the session.
Kyren Wilson 3-6 Shaun Murphy (8-54)
Murphy has a real chance to establish his four frame lead again.
You kind of feel he needs a reply after Wilson won such a convincing frame to open the session.
The clustered reds in the middle of the table were the issue but Murphy pots the black and goes nicely into the pack.
Kyren Wilson 2-6 Shaun Murphy (99-5)
Wilson manages to take the first frame of the evening.
Murphy was very unlucky with a kiss on a red obscuring the black and he struggled after that.
He tried a tricky pot, which rattled in the pocket, allowing Wilson to clear up and give himself a glimmer of hope in this final.
Kyren Wilson 2-6 Shaun Murphy (54-0)
Murphy is struggling to rediscover his form from this afternoon.
He has left a number of chances for Wilson but he has not taken advantage to claw a frame back in the match.
Wilson is at the table once again and should put this frame to bed now.
Kyren Wilson 2-6 Shaun Murphy (41-0)

Wilson taks advantage and has to keep taking the cue ball up to the baulk colours to keep this going.

We are back underway in the Masters final.
Wilson did not look a happy man as he walked down the stairs to the table, it almost seemed as if Murphy was living in his head rent-free.

Ammunition?
Ken Doherty thinks Shaun Murphy's final bit of showmanship in the afternoon session might just light a fire in Kyren Wilson's belly heading into tonight.
With the final frame of the first session already in the bag, Murphy played to the crowd by moving the black ball over the corner pocket using his hand, much to the crowd's delight.
"That last bit of showmanship from Shaun Murphy was great for the crowd, but Kyren Wilson will absolutely be livid," Doherty said.
"You don't want to give your opponent any ammunition to get him going but that will - so it'll be interesting to see how Kyren comes out tonight."

- Kyren Wilson - 3/1
Comedy of errors
1997 world champion Ken Doherty: "It's just been a comedy of errors from Kyren for some reason today.
"He was imperious last night against Judd Trump but there have been a few uncharacteristic misses - simple shots, not really difficult ones.
"It's the easy ones that are costing him and Shaun has gone from strength to strength, he's played really well."
Deserved
"It's the scoreline Shaun deserves," John Parrott said. "He's been the better player by a long chalk this afternoon - 6-2 is absolutely fair.
"His opponent has had limited opportunities, I'll give you that, but he's also looked a bit flat."
Kyren Wilson 2-6 Shaun Murphy
It's back-to-back centuries for the Magician Shaun Murphy! There's no doubting that it's the scoreline he deserves against a Kyren Wilson, who's looked flat and had limited opportunities.
A 116 break to finish proceedings for the afternoon.
"A dominant performance by Shaun Murphy. His positional success is at 96%, which just shows you the command he's had on the cue ball when he's got in," said Stephen Hendry.
"He's just not looked like making a mistake and looked totally focused.
"There have been times in Shaun's career when you see him, he's looking around the arena and he doesn't look fully into the match. But you can just see in his facial expression all week."
Kyren Wilson 2-5 Shaun Murphy
Century break! Order has been restored for Shaun Murphy after his small glitch in that last frame. The Magician makes it look so easy when he's playing like this and restores his three-frame advantage with a powerful century - his fourth of the week!
Kyren Wilson 2-4 Shaun Murphy
Massive! That was so important for Kyren Wilson, who seized on a missed plant from Shaun Murphy to reduce the deficit. Murphy might just be kicking himself - there was an easier option on but his aggressive play stitched him up a bit there.
Kyren Wilson 1-4 Shaun Murphy (24-30)
Yeah, it was a bit too messy despite Kyren Wilson's best efforts and a couple of lovely pots. A red stays in the corner jaws and Shaun Murphy once again arrives to try and do some damage.
Stephen Hendry on the commentary is absolutely right. He says that Kyren seems to be doing all the hard work for not many points, while Murphy does heavy damage, quickly.
Kyren Wilson 1-4 Shaun Murphy (1-14)
I may have spoken too soon. It's got very messy all of a sudden with Kyren Wilson back to try and sort out this table with both the high value colours tied up.
