Masters snooker 2025 LIVE RESULTS: Allen vs Selby ON NOW after Murphy MISSES 147 chance in win over Robertson – latest
MARK SELBY and Mark Allen are in action NOW in the quarters-finals of the Masters at the iconic Ally Pally
Earlier, Shaun Murphy was inspired as he put Neil Robertson to the sword to reach the semi-finals in London.

This year we will be guaranteed a new champion after reigning champ Ronnie O'Sullivan withdrew from the tournament on medical grounds. World No1 Judd Trump is on course to win a Triple Crown Grand Slam after he won the UK Championship in December.

Luca Brecel 4-2 Chris Wakelin
A great break of 57 from Brecel who fails to pot the brown to get close to 100 points in the frame.
He reestablishes a two-frame advantage and in those two visits showed another catalogue of shots in his arsenal.
He's two frames from victory.
*Luca Brecel 3-2 Chris Wakelin (40-1)
Brecel now back at the table after a quick exchange of safety shots and he's now on course for the frame.
Luca Brecel 3-2 Chris Wakelin* (39-0)
Wakelin's shot from the Brecel break is caught too thick into the pack and these reds are nice and spread for Brecel.
He comes to the table knowing what an opportunity this is.
A break of 39 comes to an end with a terrible positional shot on the cue ball, leaving it tight to a red. He'll have to play safe.
Luca Brecel 3-2 Chris Wakelin
Luca Brecel to break in frame six.
Luca Brecel 3-2 Chris Wakelin
Wakelin got out that snooker well and Brecel's next attempt is rotten, leaving a simple brown to move 28 ahead with 18 remaining.
Brecel does come back when Wakelin misses the blue but it's another rubbish snooker attempt. A double from Wakelin clinches the frame.
The snooker...
Good from Brecel who needs the snooker...
*Luca Brecel 3-1 Chris Wakelin (43-67)
Excellent break from Wakelin - but somehow hasn't managed to clinch the frame.
He clears from that position to the brown, which he misses by quite the distance.
Not only has he missed it, he's left Brecel with the chance to get the snooker he needs. 24 points in it, 22 remaining.
Luca Brecel 3-1 Chris Wakelin* (43-0)
Costly error from Brecel perhaps.
He's under-hit a tricky attempt for the right centre pocket, leaving the ball at least a couple of inches short.
He'd set the table up well too to clinch the frame, so Wakelin will hope to capitalise on the gift.
*Luca Brecel 3-1 Chris Wakelin (1-0)
Wakelin with a poor safety again, leaving the cue ball down the bottom of the table and with a pot on into the middle.
It's a tricky little shot but Brecel, full of confidence, finds the heart of the pocket.
He'll be first amongst the balls.
The players return
And we'll get back underway with Chris Wakelin to break.
A big frame for him this one.
'Flying'
Stephen Hendry was mightily impressed by that 90 minutes from Luca Brecel.
He told the BBC: "This is as good as I have seen Luca Brecel play for a long time. It is great to see. What a talent.
"He will not want the interval. He is flying at the moment. He does not want to get of the table."
Strong start
A good start to the match for Luca Brecel, who take a commanding lead into the interval.
At one stage, he looked destined to be 2-1 down. But he snatched the third frame after a poor Wakelin attempt on the blue and was ruthless in frame four.
He'll fancy his chances from here, with all that experience behind him.
Luca Brecel 3-1 Chris Wakelin
Yeah, very clinical from Luca Brecel who is really turning the screw.
That error from Wakelin well and truly punished with a terrific break of 89.
He takes a two-frame advantage into the mid-session interval.
*Luca Brecel 2-1 Chris Wakelin (33-15)
A really poor safety from Wakelin is being punished by Brecel, who has opened the pack in this ongoing break of 32.
He probably should wrap this frame up from here if he is careful.
Luca Brecel 2-1 Chris Wakelin* (1-15)
Dramatic start to the frame as Wakelin punishes the break to hit eight points before a miss to let Brecel in.
Brecel pots red and leaves himself on the black, but the cue ball goes in off! That hands the cue ball and seven points to Wakelin.
Luca Brecel 2-1 Chris Wakelin
Luca Brecel to break in a crucial frame before the mid-session interval.
Luca Brecel 2-1 Chris Wakelin
Blimey, what a finish from Luca Brecel!
Wakelin had it in his hands but just couldn't clear. His safety isn't great but still leaves Brecel with work to do and he smashes the pink in.
It's left a long pot on the black, though. He stuns that into the bottom left corner pocket, to huge cheers from the crowd. Great finish! 71-61 Brecel in frame three.
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin* (58-61)
In for a belter of a finish to this frame.
Wakelin clears down to the pink but doesn't commit to the blue pot and leaves a double on the pink. That goes astray and Brecel hasn't been left with an easy pot and misses.
Three points in it, how will this end....
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin* (58-49)
Maybe it wasn't a vital red!
Brecel takes the red and green to follow before leaving the below snooker.
Wakelin comes in, plays around the black to get out the snooker and POTS the yellow. What a chance to steal!
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin* (54-47)
A good break of 44 from Brecel, with now only one red left up for grabs.
He tries to force the cue ball having potted the brown but doesn't leave himself a shot on the remaining red, instead needing to play safe.
Big moment in this match, this red could be vital.
*Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin (10-47)
A scratch of the head for Wakelin who misses this pretty simple red to set up a good visit.
His grimace heading back to his chair says it all as he only manages to score seven before that miss.
Will he get a chance to return?
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin* (10-40)
Brecel breaks the reds up even further and now it's a very inviting table with eight reds remaining.
So he looks bitterly disappointed to only put a score of 10 together and hand the very enticing initiative back to Wakelin, who comes to the table with a 30 point lead.
*Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin (0-40)
Brecel failed to capitalise on the Wakelin break, instead leaving the newcomer a shot on of his own.
Wakelin takes it and works to a break of 40, breaking the pack of reds in doing so on his final pot on the black.
But he might regret doing that now, missing a red into the left centre pocket. Brecel with the chance to respond.
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin (0-0)
Wakelin to break in frame three.
And he lets out a huge sigh in doing so as he acknowledges it wasn't his finest effort...
Luca Brecel 1-1 Chris Wakelin
Wakelin levels the match at one frame apiece after a great visit there.
He'll be pleased with that 69, which should settle him down in his first time performing at this venue.
69-17 with one red remaining and Brecel concedes.
