  • FT: Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

It is penalty shootout for the first time in these third round ties.

Always a harsh way to lose the game.

Although is a buzz to win this way.

  • Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

    118. There is still nothing to separate these sides.

Creating clear-cut chances is proving to be a real problem.

We could be heading to penalties here.

  • Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

    115. Coventry have come out of the traps after the interval.

They force four consecutive corners as they look to pile the pressure on.

Sheff Wed finally have a breather at the back as Windass wins a free kick for the visitors.

  • Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

    105. It is half-time in extra-time at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Still nothing to separate these two teams.

One last motivational speech from the managers is needed to go and grab that place in the fourth round.

  • Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

    101. Both sides are still looking to score a winner.

They are creating half-chances and whoever manages to capitalise is likely to put their name in the draw.

This is the most excitement we have seen in this game, the last fifteen minutes we have seen.

    97. With so few chances created in normal time, you have to wonder if we are going to see out first penalty shootout in this one.

That said, nobody saw the Sheff Wed equaliser coming, deep into added time.

One thing is for sure, the next goal wins this game.

  • Coventry City 1-1 Sheff Wed

90+5. How about this for drama?

Windass assists as a late corner comes in and Musaba smashes it home from inside the six-yard box.

This one looks like it is heading to extra-time.

  • Goal - Anthony Musaba (Sheff Wed)

  • FT: Man City 8-0 Salford

It is the biggest win of the third round of the FA Cup so far.

Guardiola's side showed the different in quality between the two sides with Salford third in League Two as it stands.

They need to put this one behind them and get back to focussing on trying to get themselves promoted.

JAMES MCATEE was known as the ‘Salford Silva’ as he made his way through the City academy – due to his likeness to club legend David.

So it was appropriate he should take centre stage against the League Two side from down the road.

He bagged a hat-trick as the champions ran riot.

Jack Grealish also scored his first goal since December and Jeremy Doku struck twice as City turned in a 'Gr-Eight' performance.

Pep Guardiola has been a resident of Salford for the last eight years – this was quite a way to silence the ‘noisy neighbours’.

  • FT: Leeds Utd 1-0 Harrogate

Daniel Farke's side edge past their lower league opponents.

They created enough chances to win a few games but could only find the single goal this evening.

Ramazani's close-range header wins the game for the hosts.

  • Man City 8-0 Salford

    90. This will be a game Salford just need to forget about and get on with their lives.

Gundogan almost adds a ninth but the keeper to does well to deny him.

James McAtee is awarded the man of the match award.

  • Man City 8-0 Salford

    81. Grealish plays the ball into the box and McAtee slides in to complete his hat-trick.

He has ensured the match ball will be coming home with him.

Salford heads are well and truly down now.

  • Goal - James McAtee (Man City)

  • Leeds Utd 1-0 Harrogate

    81. The visitors are throwing caution to the wind a little more to try and find an equaliser now.

Leeds are still creating chances at regular intervals but you still feel they need another to put the game to bed.

Into the final ten minutes at Elland Road.

  • Man City 7-0 Salford

    72. This could get embarassing for Giggs and co.

Foden's ball into the box finds McAtee all alone and he slots past the keeper to score again.

Just goes to show, if all goes pear-shaped with these 115 charges, Man City would do quite well in League Two.

  • Goal - James McAtee (Man City)

  • Man City 6-0 Salford

    71. It is officially a hiding for Salford City now.

Man City score their sixth as Doku sends the keeper the wrong way as he slots home.

It is surely a damage limitation job for the visitors now.

  • Goal - Jeremy Doku (Man City)

  • Penalty to Man City

  • View from SunSport's Martin Blackburn at The Etihad

IT was December 2023 last time Jack Grealish scored a goal for Manchester City – but he put an end to that drought by winning and converting a penalty just after half-time.

He had a look over to the bench where his mate Erling Haaland – who has missed a couple of times from the spot recently – was grinning at him.

James McAtee – dubbed the ‘Salford Silva’ due to his similarities to City legend David – grabbed the fifth as City eased their way into round four.

  • Man City 5-0 Salford

    61. This could be a long half an hour for the visitors.

Doku gets in behind the defence out wide and gets a teasing ball into the box.

McAtee meets it at the near post and slots home for Man City.
