But Doak has indicated he is willing to cut short his stay at Boro to leave Liverpool permanently.

Crystal Palace tabled a £15million bid for the teenage sensation on Friday and Ipswich have reportedly offered £16m.

Brentford and Fulham are now keeping an eye on developments.

SunSport understands Arne Slot’s table toppers are believed to be holding out for a £30m package - set to be £20m plus £10m in add-ons.

Doak is also admired by Scottish champions Celtic, who sold him to Liverpool in 2022 after he made his senior debut aged just 16.

But the player prefers a switch to a Premier League club.

Liverpool are set to demand a string of add-ons should they sell Doak.

And they could even insist on a buy-back clause, which would open up the possibility of him returning to Anfield one day.

Doak has caught the eye under Michael Carrick at Boro, having been named Championship Player of the Month for November after registering five assists.

The winger has also found the back of the net twice this season.

Doak made his first appearance for Liverpool in a Carabao Cup win against Derby in 2022 and just five days later he penned his first professional contract.

But his rise was halted by knee surgery and he missed nearly all of the 2023/24 season.

Despite his injury woes, he was called up to Scotland's Euro 2024 provisional squad, only to withdraw due to fitness problems.

Meanwhile, young right-back Calvin Ramsay may stay at Liverpool beyond this transfer window.

He is highly-rated by Slot, but he was set to leave on loan again after being recalled from his spell at League One Wigan.

St Johnstone had hoped to secure him until the end of the season.

But the uncertainty surrounding Trent Alexander Arnold's future means Ramsay, 21, may stay at Anfield in case he is needed.
