ROYAL ZABEEL (6.30 Wolverhampton, nap)

He’s been in flying form since moving to Mick Appleby, with a close second at Newcastle followed by a convincing success at Southwell last time out. He travelled really strongly and can cope with this hike in class. Those efforts came over this distance and he can improve past a 6lb rise in the weights for his canny connections.

ENOLA GREY (5.30 Wolverhampton, nb)

She didn’t get the run of the race here last time so it was an excellent effort to get her head in front. Trainer Gemma Tutty is in a rich vein of form and today’s rider takes off a valuable 7lb which more than accounts for his 2lb rise in the handicap.

LEQUINTO (5.00 Wolverhampton, treble)

Got no luck in running when third at Lingfield last time and can make amends here. He saves his best for this distance and he looks ahead of the handicapper even before his rider’s 3lb claim.

GUSTAV GRAVES (7.30 Wolverhampton)

Came back to his best when beaten less than two lengths at Newcastle last week. He finished strongly from the back and has dropped to 3lb below the mark that saw him win this race 12 months ago. He looks good for out Lucky 15 under solid pilot Joanna Mason.
