AN EMOTIONAL Luke Littler broke down in tears after making history at the PDC World Championships.
The 17-year-old demolished Michael van Gerwen in a stunning display at Ally Pally.
Littler took control early, racing into a 4-0 lead in front of a partisan crowd in the capital.
The Nuke looked composed throughout and held his nerve to hold off an MVG fightback, eventually securing a 7-3 win.
After hitting his winning double, a fired-up Littler raced towards his family and friends in the crowd.
Now the youngest winner in the tournament's history, Littler began to shed tears of joy as the magnitude of his win sunk in.
