THE January transfer window is rolling on at speed - and some huge moves are still in the pipeline.

Erling Haaland has signed a new ten-year contract at Manchester City worth an eye-watering £260million.

In other news, Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up a summer move for Arsenal defender William Saliba.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have rejected Napoli's bid for Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports.

Chelsea are also reportedly interested in signing the Argentinian winger this month.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan are keen on Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford, according to reports.

    Man Utd flop Joshua Zirkzee has reportedly fallen out with boss Ruben Amorim.

    The forward has struggled to adjust to the Premier League since signing for £34million in the summer.

    Zirkzee was dragged off after just 33 minutes against Newcastle following heavy boos from his own supporters.

    Reports in Italy claim Zirkzee had a row with Amorim as he looks to secure a move away.

    New Brighton signing Diego Gomez needs "a little bit of time" before making his Seagulls debut.

    The 21-year-old Paraguay international midfielder joined from Inter Miami on New Year's Day.

    Gomez played alongside Lionel Messi for Miami, scoring three times and accumulating 8 assists last season.

    With the MLS campaign just finished, boss Fabian Hurzeler is being careful with his new star.

    Hurzeler said: "He needs for sure a little bit of time. But I am sure he is in a great shape.

    "He trained hard during his holiday and I am really looking forward to seeing him as quick as possible on the pitch."

    Aston Villa's Lewis Dobbin is on the move again - and looks set for a loan switch to Norwich.

    The 21-year-old joined Villa for $10million in the summer from Everton, but failed to make an impact on loan at West Brom.

    He made just one league start for the Baggies and was recalled by Villa on New Year's Day.

    Tottenham are eyeing a potential move to sign goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from Wolves this month, per reports.

    The 31-year-old has been told he is free to look for another club and leave Molineux after signing a four-year deal in August.

    Wolves paid £10m for Johnstone last summer but he has struggled to hold down a first-team place, dropping behind Jose Sa in the pecking order.

    According to , Spurs could be ready to swoop later this month for the ex-Palace stopper.

    Arsenal are leading the race to sign Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush, according to reports.

    The Bundesliga club are looking for £50million for the Egyptian, who has netted 13 times in 15 games this season.

    According to , the Gunners are in pole position for his signature as Liverpool struggle to tie down Mo Salah to a new contract.

    Paris St-Germain and AC Milan have also been linked to the in-form 25-year-old.

    Aston Villa are reportedly in talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Donyell Malen.

    The BVB striker has been out of favour in Germany this season, scoring 3 times in 13 games.

    He joined Dortmund from PSV in 2021 and could set Villa back £15million, per The Athletic.

    Arsenal's William Saliba has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Real Madrid.

    The Frenchman's impressive form has attracted interest from some of the Gunners' Champions League rivals.

    Spanish outlet SPORT claims Real Madrid could launch a bid to sign Saliba at the end of the season.

    But they will likely have to fork out at least £83million for him - a world record fee for a defender.

    Kyle Walker remains a January transfer target for oil-rich clubs in Saudi Arabia, writes Martin Blackburn.

    The Man City skipper, 34, is having a tough season but has 18 months left on his Etihad contract.

    Walker admitted he would "never say never" when a Middle East move was first on the horizon last year.

    Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad are all believed to still be keen on talking to the England defender.

    Chelsea face an uphill battle to offload outcast Ben Chilwell, writes Andy Dillon.

    The England left-back, 28, earns about £190,000 a week at Stamford Bridge but is out of favour with Enzo Maresca.

    The Blues may end up having to hand their Champions League winner a huge severance deal or subsidise a loan to another Prem club.

    Chilwell has not played a minute of top-flight football this season.

    He was part of the ‘bomb squad’ told last summer that they have no future at the club under Maresca.

    Real Madrid are reportedly ready to come back in for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

    The La Liga giants were rebuffed by Liverpool after making an approach for the England full-back earlier this week.

    Alexander-Arnold, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season.

    report Madrid are weighing up whether to make further contact as they look to tempt TAA to Spain in January.

    Cheltenham have signed Brentford striker Ashley Hay on loan until the end of the season.

    Hay, 21, joined the London club's academy in 2023 from non-league football and has scored 11 goals in 12 games for Brentford B this season.

    Cheltenham manager Michael Flynn said: "He's a very good finisher.

    "His stats are really good in terms of his running ability so I'm looking forward to working with him."

  • Safe hands

    Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim is looking for a new goalkeeper.

    The Portuguese is keen to provide serious competition for Andre Onana at Old Trafford.

    Royal Antwerp’s Belgian stopper Senne Lammens, 22, has been watched by scouts, writes Martin Blackburn.

    Onana and his understudy Altay Bayindir have both endured a difficult spell between the sticks.

    The Utd No1 has dropped several clangers in the two months Amorim has been in charge, including conceding direct from a corner against Wolves.

    As revealed exclusively by SunSport, Newcastle are also poised to cash in on ex-England star Kieran Trippier.

    Trippier is one of the Toon’s highest earners and the club’s hierarchy is ready to move on from the 34-year-old as they look to stick by Premier League PSR rules.

    The defender - who won the Spanish title with Atletico Madrid before joining Newcastle in 2021 - is believed to be open to another move abroad.

    Marcus Rashford sent a brief message to Manchester United fans ahead of the New Year - amid uncertainty over his future at the club.

    The forward shocked supporters in November by suggesting he is looking for a new challenge away from Old Trafford.

    Rashford, 27, has since been exiled from the United squad under new boss Ruben Amorim.

    He returned as an unused substitute in the 2-0 loss to Newcastle on Monday.

    Sat on a sofa with a framed matchday shirt behind him, Rashford captioned a snap on Instagram: "Happy New Years. May 2025 bring you all happiness."

    Trent Alexander-Arnold is set for a £100million payday - if he joins La Liga giants Real Madrid.

    The Spanish club had an approach for the Liverpool full-back - who is out of contract in June - rebuffed earlier this week.

    As revealed by SunSport, Real are prepared to give the England right back a hefty increase on his £180,000-a-week Anfield wages.

    A hefty signing-on fee would make TAA one of the best-paid players in the world.

    Miguel Almiron looks set for a £16million exit from Newcastle - and back to the MLS

    The Paraguayan winger, 30, saw a move to Charlotte FC collapse in the summer as they refused to meet Toon’s asking price.

    Charlotte assistant manager Christian Fuchs revealed: "There are always a lot of names being associated with Charlotte FC.

    "And all I know is that, once it is signed, Almiron will be a great addition to our club and I would really look forward to him joining us and playing for us."

    Wigan have announced the signing of Arsenal defender Josh Robinson on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

    The 20-year-old did not make an appearance for the Gunners senior side, but was an unused substitute in four Champions League games this season.

    Wigan manager Shaun Maloney said: "Moving here was a significant decision for him.

    "But Josh is both excited and motivated about our vision for the club in the coming seasons."

    Ruben Amorim has reportedly demanded Manchester United buy Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres in January.

    The Portuguese boss has suffered a dismal start to his tenure at the Theatre of Dreams.

    Gyokores has been prolific for Sporting since signing from Coventry in the summer of 2023.

    According to The Daily Star, Amorim is so worried by United's lack of firepower that he wants to spend big this month rather than wait until the summer.

    The Swede, 26, has hit a staggering 26 goals in 24 matches this season.

    He is contracted in Lisbon until 2028, with a release clause of around £80million.
