Red Devils’ left-back dilemma
Tim Sherwood believes Man United should sign a new left-back in either Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez or Ipswich’s Leif Davis.
He told : “I’ll give you two names Manchester United can target if they decide to invest in the position: Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth and Leif Davis at Ipswich.
“Kerkez will be difficult because I can see Liverpool making a move for him after Richard Hughes joined as a Sporting Director, but I think he would suit Manchester United as well.
“Davis would be gettable from Ipswich. He’s been really impressive for them this season and he’d give Man United balance going forward on the left-hand side, so he’s another option to consider.”

He told : “Marcus Rashford needs to leave Manchester United. I think his time is up at the club. If they can, they should bring in Viktor Gyokeres to replace him – he could be a great player for them.
“I think they also need to sign a box-to-box midfielder - someone with an engine who can contribute in both halves.
“The problem with Gyokeres now is that every club in Europe wants him, and if you put yourself in his position, would you rather move to a club like Bayern Munich, or Man United where there’s no guarantee you’ll win trophies?”

“This guy plays with such anger. He wants to hit everyone on the pitch because he's coming from a poor country, poor background. He just got a name for himself this season with Lens. He feels like he has something to prove.

Petit’s Lee warning
