TONY ROMO is set to quit the NFL and go into broadcasting - after Dallas Cowboys starlet Dak Prescott emerged this season.
The Cowboys ace and four-time Pro Bowler is the club's career leader in passing touchdowns and passing yards.
But at 36 he has decided to call it quits and move into broadcasting, with the American media reporting the move.

Dallas had been planning to release Romo and free up money to spend on wages and he could still walk off with a tw0-year pay-off.
After fracturing his back during the Cowboys' pre-season game against the Seattle Seahawks, that he is concerned about his family future and long-term health.
Romo joined the Cowboys in 2004 as a rookie free agent after going through the 2003 draft without being picked up.
He then had several seasons as back-up for the likes of Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe before making his breakthrough in 2006 and retaining his starting berth until last season.
Romo was injured for the start of the 2016 season and Dak Prescott was one of the emerging talents of the NFL last term, keeping him out of the team.
He signed a six-year extension in 2013 worth £86million, with over half of that guaranteed and the rest in bonuses.
But now the Cowboys will have extra wage cash available to bolster their squad ahead of the 2017 season.
The Cowboys are widely seen as America's team and the Cowboys are valued as the world's most valuable sports team ahead of Real Madrid, Barcelona, the New York Yankees and Manchester United.
