Can you read too much into the cup clash just the other night? It's difficult to say you can.

For a start, Mikel Arteta made eight changes to his line-up and Palace could and should've been more ahead than the 1-0 half time lead.

What it maybe did show is Arteta can't quite trust his fringe players, having hooked two at the break and when holding onto a slender 3-2 lead late on, he had to throw on Gabriel to see the game out.

But Arsenal's usual struggles in front of goal could continue here on the tighter home patch of Crystal Palace and they'll certainly make the Gunners work hard for any goals.
