Punters and Christmas parties sold out the London venue to cheer on both the Round of 128 and Round of 64 clashes on Tuesday evening.

But a video of one fan has gone viral after he was caught looking embarrassed when he noticed the Sky Sports cameras pointing in his direction.

The man, sporting a Elf Christmas jumper, could be seen smiling and enjoying a sing-song with his pals, before quickly turning straight faced and swinging his head sideways away from the camera.

Of course, he could have just wanted to avoid being on the telly.

But fans have come up with other work-related reasons for his swift change in demeanour.

One wrote on X: "His job just flashed before his eyes 🤣."

A second said: "Someone's pulled a sickie at work."

A third quipped: "You're getting sacked in the morning!"
