Scottish Open snooker 2024: FULL schedule and results as Mark Allen eyes huge £100,000 jackpot in Edinburgh

THE Scottish Open is now UNDERWAY - with some huge names competing in Edinburgh.

In 2023, Gary Wilson triumphed for the second consecutive year after he beat Noppon Saengkham 9-5 in the final.

But the Englishman crashed out in the opening round this year - meaning a new champion will be crowned in Edinburgh.

Judd Trump is not in action as he takes a break after his brilliant UK Championship win, while Mark Williams and Ronnie O'Sullivan have also withdrawn.

The Scottish Open is the penultimate Home Nations Series event of the season with only the Welsh Open to play after the Edinburgh spectacle concludes.

When is the Scottish Open 2024?

• The Scottish Open began on Monday, December 9.
• Play starts daily at 10am UK time.
• The tournament will run until Sunday, December 15.
• Meadowbank Centre in Edinburgh will host.
