Haye confirms his team is looking into possibility of crossover fight
FORMER heavyweight champ David Haye wants to fight UFC knockout artist Jimi Manuwa - on the undercard of Conor McGrgegor's mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather.
The 36-year-old has confirmed his team is already in talks with Manuwa's for a potential crossover bout between the London rivals.
Haye, who was beaten by Tony Bellew earlier this month, is currently working his way back from an Achilles injury.

He confirmed in a social media Q&A that he is spying the Poster Boy as his next opponent.
When asked if he would consider a bout with Manuwa, Haye told fans: "The answer is a resounding yes.
"I was very impressed with his quick knock out the other night at the O2 Arena.
"If any of the mixed martial artists can convert over to be a successful boxer he has definitely got the body shape and style to do so.
"We have heard from Manuwa’s management and UFC so it is something that we are looking at at the moment.
"Obviously it is a little way off being confirmed.
"But it is a fight that would unify a lot of the fans from both UFC and boxing and make a mega event."
Manuwa, 37, scored a stunning KO win at the O2 earlier this month when he put down Corey Anderson with one massive left hook at UFC Fight Night.
The south Londoner has won 17 of his UFC bouts by knockout and is known as one of the hardest hitters in MMA.
After the fight he said: "David Haye, let’s do this - we're two of the hardest hitters in London. I think that the fight makes sense.
"Conor wants to fight Mayweather, why not have me against David Haye on the same card?"
McGregor and Mayweather have long been linked with a crossover fight that would easily become the richest in history.
The pair have traded insults for months with both camps blaming the other for a fight not having been agreed yet.
Former welterweight champion Amir Khan has also expressed an interest in making a move to MMA.
