  • Aloys: I'm special, people don't need to tell me!

Aloys Junior composed and professional in the post-fight interview ringside, proud mum over his left shoulder with one of his two titles.

He insists this is just 20% of the potential at his disposal and he'll continue improving with an excellent team supporting him along the way, not to mention the invaluable support system his family provides. 2025 will see him look to make even bigger moves now.

  • Aloys stops Oakford in three!

Well, I did warn you... Aloys was boxing purposefully, at a hellacious pace and as if he had somewhere better to be. Unbothered by the power coming back his way, Oakford needed to be defensively tighter otherwise these big shots would take their toll. They definitely did.

Vicious punches with both hands, first the pawing left and then a series of right crosses dropped the 33-year-old. He looked in a bad way and it could've been stopped there, though the ref gave him a chance to recover... albeit with a short leash as Aloys unloaded more.

  • Aloys assertive early

Aloys bursts out of the blocks with a series of powerful combinations, Oakford takes them well enough before firing back with a few whenever the youngster finds himself - briefly - with his back against the ropes.

The crowd love what they're seeing from the 8-1 pro, boxing like he's got somewhere better to be right now as this heats up nicely.

  • Fast and furious pace tonight...

Sean Noakes earned a UD10 win (97-93 x 3) over Mathew Rennie to retain his English welterweight title and now, we've got another intriguing contest - this time at cruiserweight - as one of Frank Warren's favourite boxers is back in action against a stern test.

Aloys Junior faces Lewis Oakford with a dozen years' age difference in the typical prospect vs. veteran matchup on paper but neither is particularly seasoned just yet, adding a bit more spice to this clash.

Ringwalks were sharp, introductions out of the way and the first bell has just sounded!

  • Cornwall legend

Pauls became the first boxer from Cornwall to win a Lonsdale belt since 1939 and he wasn't surprised at the incredible achievement.

Speaking to BBC Sports, Pauls said: "It's strange, but what else did I expect to happen?"

"I've done nothing else, I promise you, I'm not good at any other thing.

"All I've done is box, I thought 'something's got to happen here' and it's nice to be in the history books. I'd love to give Cornwall some history where they don't have loads of superstars coming out of that county.

"I feel like there's a little bit more to gain, a little bit more to do."

  • Welcome to Brad Pauls vs Denzel Bentley

Denzel Bentley takes on Brad Pauls TONIGHT in what should be a cracker of a British title contest at Wembley Arena.

Bentley lost the Lonsdale belt to Nathan Heaney last year before the Stoke man lost it to Pauls in the summer.

Both men want to propel themselves into the world middleweight title picture, with Bentley having challenged for the WBO strap before, losing on points to Janibek Alimkhanuly.

Pauls, despite holding the British title, is the underdog here and will be hoping to upset the applecart, putting himself into world title contention instead.

On the undercard is Lawrence Okolie's debut at heavyweight against Hussein Muhamed.

Sam Noakes is also in action against Ryan Walsh, while Sol Dacres takes on David Adeleye in a big English heavyweight title bout.
