Inside Luke Littler’s childhood home as dad shows off incredible box of trophies and says ‘and that’s just the juniors’

LUKE LITTLER has a treasure trove of trophies in his childhood home - and they are just from his junior career.

The Warrington wonderkid was a little known prodigy when he emerged at the World Darts Championship last year.

But prior to the prestigious tournament at Ally Pally Littler was already a serial winner, and a young talent aiming to conquer the world.

Sky cameras went behind the scenes at his house in the weeks leading up to the World Championship for their documentary Game of Throws, as Littler showed off his pet French Bulldog.

His dad Anthony also pulled out a box of trophies and medals from under Littler's bed from all his junior triumphs.

There was countless silverware on show as Anthony said: "If you want to have a quick look under his bed there's boxes of trophies.

"That's just the junior. Some achievement isn't it."

The camera then cut to Littler, who simply said: "You've just got to put the hard work in and you'll get to where you want to be."

A few weeks later Littler - who has already become a millionaire follwing his sensational year - found himself in the final in his debut World Darts Championship appearance, where he came up short against Luke Humphries.

However the then 16-year-old revealed his only plan was to enjoy himself ahead of his opening round win against Christian Kist.

His manager Martin Foulds responded to Littler's suggestion by saying: "You're not going to see what happens, you're going to win."

Foulds offered some motivation before Littler's debut, telling the youngster: "At the end of the day it's not a team game, you're playing for number one. You go out there to win,

"You don't go out there to try, you go out to win, Trying is for losers."

As well as Kist, Littler also beat Rob Cross, Raymond van Barneveld, Brendan Dolan, Matt Campbell and Andrew Gilding.

Asked by his dad how he would feel if he could add Ally Pally to his collection, the teenager - who is set for a dream clash when the World Championships start again next month - responded: "Crazy."
