CAREER CHANGE?

Luke Littler destroys rival so badly at Players Championship he begs teen darts ace to SWAP sports

Littler has been in devastating form throughout the Players Championship Finals so far

LUKE LITTLER'S opponent Mike De Decker called on the teenager to leave darts for another sport after being thrashed 10-3.

The Nuke, 17, has been in sensational form at the Players Championship Finals this week, days after claiming the Grand Slam of Darts title in Wolverhampton.

He began the Minehead tournament with a destructive 6-0 win over former world champion Rob Cross.

Littler then dispatched Ritchie Edhouse 6-2 and Danny Noppert 10-3 with some more exhibition-style darts.

And De Decker, who lost 10-9 to Littler in a classic last week, could do little to slow down the Warrington youngster's momentum on Sunday afternoon as he slumped to a 10-3 defeat in their quarter-final.

The pair embraced after Littler sealed his place in the last four.

And the world championship runner-up revealed following his emphatic victory that De Decker joked he should "take up bowling".

Littler, who averaged 103.73, said: "We both had slack darts but I had a better game.

"He did say 'do you want to take up bowling or something instead of darts'.

"But no I'll stick to darts."
