Amir Khan says Conor McGregor is ‘not made as a boxer’ as a fight against Floyd Mayweather edges closer
McGregor and Mayweather are both believed to want the fight, but monies still need sorting, as does a date and venue
AMIR KHAN says Conor McGregor would lose to Floyd Mayweather Jr as he "isn't made for boxing".
The Bolton boxer was talking to ESNEWS at his 'King's Boxing Gym' in Oakland California and said that UFC king McGregor doesn't have a chance against five weight world champion Mayweather.
Talks are believed to be continuing between McGregor and Mayweather in what could be the first £100million boxing clash.

The 30-year-old light welterweight said: "McGregor keeps saying he wants to come into boxing but he's all talk.
"I know he's doing a little bit of boxing here and there, but boxing and MMA are two different sports.
"I think that he's [McGregor] not made as a boxer, but he might do well, he's got that punch power that everyone says.
"He [Mayweather] can break anyone down, take away that power, pick them off and I think McGregor just falls short in boxing.
"It's his first fight he's having as a professional boxer, 12 rounds, against the best boxer, with the best defence.
"He [McGregor] could start off maybe taking one or two warm up fights then taking someone decent then taking Mayweather at the end.
"Floyd is one of the best fighters in the decade we've had in boxing and McGregor wants to fight the best out there.
"Floyd's getting a bit older now, he might not be physically stronger now, or physically in great shape but I know one thing about Floyd - he's mentally a great fighter."
And yesterday, Mayweather has responded to Conor McGregor’s claims that he will stop him.
While attending the pro debut of friend and fellow Irishmen Michael Conlan, McGregor promised that if he fought Mayweather, he wouldn’t just win, but he’d stop the five-weight ex-world champion boxer.
Mayweather told FIGHTHYPE.COM: "I feel he’s entitled to feel the way he wants to feel, the only thing you can do is respect that.
"I didn’t just become world champion overnight, it was a process, it took me longer than four years, but not as a professional, as professional it took me less than two years to become world champion.
"But as an amateur, I had my first amateur fight in 87 and I wasn’t a world champion in the professional ranks until I was 21 I think, 1998.”
