Cristiano Ronaldo’s uncle ‘rushed to hospital after motorcycle was hit by car and flipped over’ on UK island
THE uncle of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on Wednesday, according to reports.
Jorge Viveiros suffered the accident while driving a motorcycle in Saint Helier, Jersey.
Portuguese outlet claims he was hit by a smart car and his vehicle overturned.
He was eventually rescued by firefighters and taken to a nearby hospital.
Viveiros remained under observation for a matter of hours before being discharged the same day.
He is now thought to be recovering at home.

Viveiros is the brother of Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro.
The Real Madrid legend is known to be close with his family, especially his mother.

Ronaldo is about to enter the final seven months of his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
As things stand, he is yet to agree terms for a new deal.
Jose Mourinho is allegedly trying to persuade him to join Fenerbahce next summer.
Reports claim the ex-Real Madrid boss has already contacted him.
He asked: "Are you happy there? There is talk that you want to leave.
"If you leave, would you like to come to Fenerbahce?"
