Deji vs Dawood Savage LIVE RESULTS: KSI’s brother scores KO WIN in bizarre end to Misfits 19 comeback – latest updates

DEJI won his Misfits comeback after 18 months out - but the fight ended in farcical fashion.

KSI's superstar brother bounced back from his exhibition loss to boxing mogul Floyd 'Money' Mayweather with a 2023 victory against musician Swarmz.

After 18 months out, Deji scored another win over Dawood Savage - knocking out his opponent without breaking a sweat in round two.

  • Deji wins!

What did I just witness, it's actually hard to put into words.

Deji whiffs on an uppercut then lands a perfect straight right to knock Savage to the floor.

The ref, for some reason, decides NOT to rule that as a knockdown and allows the fight to continue.

The pair come together again and Deji then lands a glancing blow of the temple of Savage.

Dawood goes SPRAWLING to the canvas like a sack of potatoes and looks like his soul has left his body.

He does not want absolutely any part of continuing on in there.

    Shambolic.

  • Deji vs Savage

R3: The round starts in absolutely farcical fashion... and it's all over! Deji wins!

What in the world happened there!

  • Deji vs Savage

R2: Savage may well have WON that round - this is a really confusing performance from Deji, who definitely has more power but seems to be waiting.

His corner is trying to give him that message and they are FUMING.

They tell Deji: "What are you doing? Go to f***ing war, man!"

We must have more from Deji.

  • Deji vs Savage

R2: Savage continues to circle and run then looks to engage.

But Deji has to actually throw if he wants to win - he looks bored and as if he's above his opponent, but that doesn't win you fights, you actually have to go out and win them.

  • Deji vs Savage

R1: Deji holding the centre of the ring while Savage just continues to circle and back pedal.

Savage lasts the first round but Deji only threw - and landed - one punch.

He probably needs to offer a bit more activitity.

Meanwhile, in the commentary box KSI and Co are actually laughing at Savage, and appear shocked he's managed to last a round.

  • Deji vs Savage

    R1: And we're off!

Chants of 'Deji, Deji, Deji!' go up around the arena as KSI can't stop giggling.

Savage lands an early right hand while Deji waits for his opening.

He takes nearly a minute to throw but when he does it's a massive left that rocks Savage and seems to really shock the man in the black shorts.

  • Deji vs Savage

Both men in the ring now and Deji looks like he is here strictly for business.

He cracks a smile as his name is read out but he looks laser focused against the man making his Misfits debut.

Dawood doesn't look quite so serious.

Four two-minute rounds coming right up.

  • Here comes Deji!

He walks out to bona fide hip hop classic Simon Says by Pharoahe Monch - unfortunately it's the clean version.

  • Ring walks

Dawood Savage is making his way to the ring now, we're not long away at all.

  • Tale of the Tape

Not quite the traditional tale of the tape boxing fans might be used to....

  • Deji record

Deji has won only two of his six fights in his career so far, although did beat Swarmz in his most recent fight in May 2023.

The fight before that was against Floyd Mayweather.

Deji is the heavy favourite for this one, with Dawood Savage having lost all SIX of his bouts so far.

However, he has fought all six of those in the last 12 months - so maybe that activity will see him through?

  • Deji on NEXT

Don't go anywhere folks, Deji is coming right up next.

This is the fight you're here for, hopefully it does not disappoint.

  • Gracious Jarvis

In his post-fight interview Jarvis is very humble in defeat and even offers Williams a rematch for when he is back and fighting fit.

    Great to hear.

  • Jarvis vs Williams

Well, well, well I was wrong - replays show that Williams DID NOT get floored by a big Jarvis punch.

As he spins away from a massive right hand he appears to twist an ankle or knee and that's what sends him tumbling down.

The ref even waved away the count but Williams was unable to get back up and looked to be in a lot of pain.

He could then be seen being helped out of the ring with members of his team holding his ankle as he is unable to put weight on it.

    A shame for Williams.

  • Jarvis vs Williams

R3: Into round three and Jarvis probably needs to win the remaining three, or score a KO, to keep hold of his middleweight belt.

Williams is still coming forward but definitely not with the same fury as he did in rounds one and two, he's trying to pick his shots a bit more - is that a sign of him tiring?

Jarvis now has a bit of success and... THERE IT IS! The champ lands a massive shot that sends Williams crashing to the canvas!

    Wow!

  • Jarvis vs Williams

R2: Commentators curse strikes yet again as Jarvis has his head rocked by a one-two from Williams.

He looks a bit stunned there as Williams just will not stop coming forward - this is an incredible display of stamina.

Jarvis does have a bit of power inside his blue gloves but has only managed to land a couple of flush shots across the first two rounds.

He'll be praying that Williams slows down - I have it 2-0 to the man in the white trunks.

  • Jarvis vs Williams

R2: Back out for Round 2 and again Williams looks mega keen to just engage and unload on his opponent.

The champ has barely thrown while Williams is putting everything into these opening salvos.

If he does manage to keep up this level of activity then this is going to be very difficult for Jarvis to overcome, Williams is just overwhelming him with his forward movemnt and number of punches thrown.

Again, though, not much of note is landing...

  • Jarvis vs Williams

R1: The challenger definitely won't be able to keep up this level of activity and energy over five rounds and his corner will probably hope some of that wild enthusiasm is now out of his system.

Neither man has landed anything of note so far with Jarvis looking for openings.

Typically, as I type that, Williams' wild style finds the target a couple of times but it's not doing much damage, until he lands a good right hand in the clinch in the final seconds of action.

Williams probably takes that round because of the activity but that was certainly quantity over quality.

  • Jarvis vs Williams

R1: The pair come out to huge noise as they prepare for their title bout.

Williams almost sprints to the middle and looks full of energy as he unloads an early combo that mostly hits arm and glove.

Jarvis then takes control of the centre but Williams is again throwing wildly - mostly swinging and missing, although you can't knock the enthusiasm.

  • Jarvis vs Williams

This next fight is the first title fight of the night with the MFB welterweight title on the line.

As with most Misfits scraps, there was a bit of beef in the build-up and some handbags when the two fighters met in their face-off.

Should be a good contest coming up.

  • Nichlmao disappointed

The losing fighter was clearly gutted at that result and dedicates the win to his two coaches and their mother, who died only this past weekend.

We've got Jarvis Khattri and Ben Williams up next

  • Warren Spencer wins!

I told you that scoring could have gone absolutely any way - and it really did.

Nichlmao looks completely stunned at that result and some of the scoring is probably a bit unfair.

The final scoring is 38-38, 39-37 and 40-36.

I had it much closer to a draw than a four rounds to none for Spencer, Nichlmao won at least one round of that and was definitely in all of them.

Warren Spencer dedicates his win to his brother, Jordan, who was killed earlier this year.

  • Spencer vs Nichlmao

R4: Spencer just working with a bit more purpose and not quite so much recklessness as he throws deliberate rather than wild shots.

The 10 second marker brings yet more action but it's all a bit scrappy with neither man really inflicting any pain on the other.

As the final bell goes they embrace and both fighters raise their hands to celebrate.

This really could go either way as we head to the judges!

  • Spencer vs Nichlmao

R4: Wow, these two really do not care much about their defensive work and it's made for the fight night so far.

Each fighter is throwing with malice and intent and really looking to take the head off their rival.

I have it 2-1 to Spencer but, again, I don't have a clue how the judges are scoring this one.

Into the final minute of the fight now...

  • Spencer vs Nichlmao

R3: Spencer looks to have taken control of the fight before the final 30 seconds when Nichlmao just increases the pace and unloads an absolute barrage!

There were at least four really heavy shots that hurt Spencer and may have just swayed the judges to give him that round.

The bell rings and the pair embrace again as we now head to the fourth and final round.
