Deji vs Dawood Savage LIVE RESULTS: KSI’s brother scores KO WIN in bizarre end to Misfits 19 comeback – latest updates

DEJI won his Misfits comeback after 18 months out - but the fight ended in farcical fashion.

KSI's superstar brother bounced back from his exhibition loss to boxing mogul Floyd 'Money' Mayweather with a 2023 victory against musician Swarmz.

After 18 months out, Deji scored another win over Dawood Savage - knocking out his opponent without breaking a sweat in round two.

  • Gib vs Slim

R1: Definitely Slim's round that first one, he looked excellent, landing half a dozen really solid shots that did decent damage.

Gib still looking pretty solid though, with his short and stocky frame.

  • Gib vs Slim

R1: Slim starts extremely well and lands TWO excellent right hands inside the first minute of the fight.

Gib certainly worried by that second shot and he looks a little bit stunned at that one.

He reacts well, slowing the pace, but Slim lands another strong left flush on Gib's chin.

KSI is going mental in commentary box...

  • Gib vs Slim

    R1: We're underway!

  • Slim Reaper

Unlike Slim, who was dancing and singing and playing with the crowd on his way to the ring, Gib is all business as he calmly makes his walk into the ring with his hood high over his head.

  • Michael Buffer in the house

KSI and Misfits sparing no expense as they've employed the most famous voice in sport to introduce the main event.

That's right Michael Buffer is in the house in Qatar.

And here come the fighters for the main event, with Slim into the ring first with an energetic ring walk.

  • Main event NEXT

That's enough of Deji for now, as we countdown to the main event between Gib and Slim.

Not long to go until that one, but hopefully enough time for a quick drink break.

  • Deji reaction

There has been a lot of reaction to the Deji win, especially the manner in which Dawood Savage appeared to give up after a couple of stiff shots.

Deji's opponent is now 0-7 after the fight tonight, while Deji himself moves to 3-4.

We hope Dawood got a decent pay cheque for that performance, because he certainly gave up at the first sign of trouble - Deji only landed three punches MAX.

Plenty of fans are joking that Savage was knocked out by Deji "hugging" him as it was described as "one of the most bizarre knockouts in Misfits history".

  • Deji has spoken

As we said earlier, Deji was clearly disappointed with the manner of that win and made that clear on social media later.

He wrote on X: "Disappointed with that performance but we go again!!

"Love to all those who supported me."

  • What a performance

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

Well that was absolutely out of nowhere, what a sensational uppercut to send King Kenny tumbling to the floor.

In the clinch Papi unloads a monster right as Kenny looks to slip to the right.

It lands absolutely perfectly and Kenny is sent stumbling and tumbling ALL OVER the ring.

Kenny tries to get to his feet, and the referee gives him every chance, but the lights look like they are out.

His legs are jelly and the referee waves it off.

That was the punch of the night by a VERY long way.

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

R3: Just like that - it's all over!

MONSTER punch landed by Salt Papi sends King Kenny to the floor!

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

R2: Still very little action in this fight until we get to the final minute of the round, when Salt Papi explodes on the offensive and tries to get some shots off.

He doesn't land anything clean but at least he's showing some incentive.

The referee then brings both fighters in for a words about their use of heads and some dirty tactics in the clinch.

This has not been a classic by any means and pretty difficult to score so far.

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

R2: Second round of six and it's more of the same from these two, both men not really throwing and going in for the clinch when things get a bit hot.

Salt Papi is on the floor AGAIN but it's definitely not a knockdown again.

King Kenny just lobs him to the floor during a scrappy clinch, proving he's the stronger man.

That has to be a bit demoralising for Salt Papi and will probably give King Kenny a boost - but it's not judo, it's boxing, so ultimately it means very little.

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

R1: Tough to separate these two after a round. Not a lot of clean action and certainly no punches with any kind of accuracy or venom landed.

You might argue that Salt Papi took the round as he was trying to be on the front foot a bit more, but King Kenny controlled the centre and certainly didn't take any damage there.

    Tough one to score.

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

R1: Round one is off and running and both men are feeling each other out in the early sparring here.

Not much being thrown in anger until Salt Papi steps in and tries to land a little one-two, although he's quickly clinched.

On his next foray inside, Salt Papi loses his footing and lands up on his backside, although it's clearly nothing.

Kenny is then warned about using his head.

  • Salt Papi ring-walk

Here comes Salt Papi now and he looks absolute business as he walks on to Eminem.

  • King Kenny vs Salt Papi

Here comes King Kenny to ring, fresh off of beating Adam Brooks, Kenny walks out dressed all in black - with the black dressing gown.

He walks out to Michael Jackson classic Beat It.

  • Coming next year?

    These two head to head

  • HS SLAPS Wade

Well they nearly ARE scrapping as HS lands a slap on the cheek of Wade while he's in the middle of talking on the Mic.

I'm still not 100 per cent clear when exactly those two are fighting, but I'd predict the January 18 card with Tommy Fury and Darren Till.

With that sideshow over, we move onto Salt Papi and King Kenny next!

  • HSTikkyTokky in the ring

This is now a full WWE show.

Wade and KSI don't shake hands and then KSI drops another bombshell by bringing out HSTikkyTokky.

The social media bad boy was originally slated to fight tonight and then was scrapped from the bill.

Are they fighting tonight? I have no idea...

  • Well maybe he's not fighting?

I must admit I'm confused at this heel turn from KSI.

He then says he's not announcing a fight and instead, announces he is doing "what's best for the business" as it's time for "me to be the best CEO there is".

He then brings out Wade Plemons, who was sacked by Misfits in the past.

  • 'Who am I fighting?'

He asks the crowd for who should he fight, and lots of names are being chucked out there.

  • KSI has gone full WWE

KSI has grabbed the mic and cutting a promo that The Rock would have been proud of.

"When you come at my company, you come at me. When you disrespect my company, you disrespect me."

    He's announced he's fighting in 2025...

  • KSI is in the ring...

I smell a big announcement coming here...

  • 'Weak'

Deji looks disappointed despite the win, as if he might have let the fans down.

He says he knew in the first round that he was "levels" above Savage and that he wants to show more against a tougher opponent.

"I feel like that performance was really weak."
