And to prepare for the former Baddest Man on The Planet, Paul recruited the services of 19st 7lb Dacarree Scott.

Nicknamed Mac Truck, he stands the same 5ft 10in frame as Tyson and has been tasked with mimicking the famously ferocious Iron Mike.

And he did such a convincing job that Paul doubled his day rate.

Scott, 26, told SunSport: "One day we sparred and just he came to me and it was like, 'Yo, I'm gonna pay you double.'

"And I just was like, 'Yo, appreciate it.' It was unexpected. I'm just doing my job and for him to say that, it was perfect just helping him win.

"So now it just made me get more confidence that he's gonna win because I really push him. Tyson's not going to fight him how I fought him."

Scott watched back vintage Tyson in a bid to replicate his brilliant best for sparring with Paul.

He said: "I had to work on just watching film.

"But I was watching young Tyson fighting back in the day. I suppose I was just trying to give him that look.

"Tyson is 58 years old, he's not moving like that. Like people say, I'm a bigger guy but I move fast.

"Don't let the size fool you. I give him that look and Jake just like, 'It was perfect look.'"

Paul, 27, was due to fight Tyson, 58, in July but the boxing icon was forced to pull out after suffering an ulcer flare-up during a flight.

He instead knocked out replacement opponent Mike Perry, 33, with Scott remaining part of the camp.

And after spending almost a year training alongside Paul, he has watched sparring partners come and go after being kicked to the curb.

Scott revealed: "Power-wise, he got power, he got crack, he trains hard.

"We go to track. He works out two or three times a day like a real fighter. It shocked me at times because you hear everybody, you hear it.

"And then when I first came here, you see him split somebody's eye. Boom, drops him. Boom, drops him.

"And the coaches be like, 'Get up out of here.' And then, 'Mac, get in there.' And I'm getting in there and Jake's trying to drop me!
