Maybe he was putting a late bet on Viviane Araujo to win the last bout.
Viviane Araujo wins by unanimous decision
Viviane Araujo vs Karine Silva (Round 3)
This is a very strange third round.
Silva tries everything she can ot get Araujo to ground but she makes an error and ends up in a terrible position on the canvas.
What is even weirder, Araujo lets her get back to her feet as she feels she needs to a KO to win.
Araujo lands some big hits and Silva keeps on purposely going to the ground on her back, trying to invite her opponent to the floor.
The fans are not enjoying this tactic and shows a lack of conditioning and begs the question whether she is ready for the next level.
This one goes to the card but it was a round that Araujo definitely won in the third.
Viviane Araujo vs Karine Silva (Round 2)
An elbow at the end of the last round has caused a lot of blood to flow from the nose and mouth of Araujo.
She starts the round in more positive fashion, taking the fight to Silva.

Araujo does well to get herself out of a potential aardvark move but as Silva has a lock on her neck, she does well to get out of it.
The round ends and it was a tough one for Araujo, who is only able to breathe through her mouth due to the damage to her nose.
Viviane Araujo vs Karine Silva (Round 1)
Two very contrasting styles to start this fight.
Silva is full of confidence and looking to get on the front foot, leading with her kicks.
Araujo is fighting off the back foot, looking to pick her off with punches and kicks when the opening presents itself with Silva's attacks.
Towards the end of the round Silva lands two big punches which really rock her fellow Brazilian.
As the round ends, there is blood coming from the nose of Araujo.
Viviane Araujo vs Karine Silva
Next up we have a women's flyweight bout.
It should be a cracker in this battle of Brazil.
Silva has made quite a name for herself in the UFC and is looked upon as a real contender for titles.

He follows it up with a big left to the jaw which sends him crashing to the mat.

Mauricio Ruffy vs James Llontop
This one should be a good fight.
Two warriors who are always looking for the finish.
Despite being slightly shorter than Llontop, Ruffy will have two inch advantage on the reach which can be telling.

Marcus McGhee wins by unanimous decision
Martinez vs McGhee (Round 3)
At the end of the second round, McGhee limped back to his corner after that heavy low kick.
It took until the second minute of this round for Martinez to utilise the kick again and McGhee cannot stand on the right leg.
They get into a clinch but it is not where he needs to be.
Unless he goes to town on the right leg of McGhee you cannot see how he plans on winning this one.
He lands a good punch but McGhee manages to keep that right leg out of the way long enough to take this one to the card.
Martinez vs McGhee (Round 2)
Martinez did this against Aldo and just gave him too much respect.
He has started to come out of his shell a bit in this round, trying to land a spinning forearm but it was blocked.
McGhee has got a few punches through the guard for clean hits.
It seems Martinez is trying to wear out McGhee, he is slowing down a bit,
As a result Martinez lands a good elbow on the forehead of his opponent.
He got a lot more heavy low kicks in there and is starting to put something together here now.
Martinez vs McGhee (Round 1)
Martinez has not really got going in this one at all.
The only thing he has done well is keeping his guard up so he has taken no clean hits.
He needs to start coming back with something.
McGhee is just trying to feel him out, find his weaknesses.
UFC first in octagon
Before the first could start, McGee's corner wanted them to check the toenails of Martinez.
"I'm not gonna clip them now!" was the message from the referee.
We are underway, will Martinez use his extra-long toenails to give him that extra edge, we shall see.
