  • Chandler confident despite defeat

Speaking with Joe Rogan after the fight, Michael Chandler still has the fire inside of a winner.

He calls out Conor McGregor saying "If you ever get your house in order, we've been keeping this octagon warm, get back in here and see if you can fight me!"

What a fight that one would be but it seems a big ask to see McGregor back in the UFC right now.

  • Charles Oliveira wins by unanimous decision

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler (Round 5)

As both fighters are exchanging, Chandler catches Oliveira with a big right that rocks him.

Chandler starts pounding the former champion and seems to be hurting him.

The fighters get back to their feet and this is the chance for Chandler to turn this fight on its head.

Oliveira takes his chance to take him to ground again and secures him with the arm trap to ensure that he wins this one on the card.

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler (Round 4)

Chandler realiises that he needs to land some big punches.

He lands some clean shots but single hits will not be enough he needs to get the combos going.

Oliveira takes him to ground again but does not seem to be working him into a submission move.

Not many fighters look to take Chandler to ground with his wrestling background but Oliveira is no normal man.

The best Chandler can do is to fight off the locks and hooks until the end of the round.

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler (Round 3)

Oliveira starts to dominate the fight.

He catches Chandler with a big uppercut as he tries a big overhand to the Brazilian.

It is followed up with a flying knee that catches him also.

Oliveira opts to take him to ground and this is not a good position for Chandler to be in.

He continues to throw punches to the body and head, wearing down the American.

Chandler makes it to the end of the round but he is going to need a knockout if he has any hope of winning this bout.

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler (Round 2)

Oliveira starts to show his dangerous side early on.

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler (Round 1)

Oliveira tries a flat kick to start the round.

The pair exchange punches and the Brazilian seems to get a finger to the eye as he is rubbing it constantly.

He seems to get over it and manages to take Chandler to ground and has his leg in a dangerous position.

This groundwork has turned very tactical, Chandler trying to control the right leg of Oliveira.

Chandler holds out for the best part of three minutes on the ground and while he will have lost the round he has taken little damage.

It will seem a win for him as he got himself into a position where Oliveira could finish that fight.

  • Crunch time for Chandler

Michael Chandler needs to get back to winning ways here.

Two years on the sidelines waiting for Conor McGregor have seemingly all been for nothing.

But a win over former champ Charles Oliveira could do wonders for him and earn him a shot at the lightweight title.

Let's see if he can exact his revenge on the Brazilian, who beat him just over three years ago.

  • Charles Oliveira vs Michael Chandler

These two have met before where Oliveira stopped Chandler in his tracks, now he has the chance to get some payback.

It was a great fight last time as Chandler started like a steam train and it looked like he was going to become UFC champion.

Oliveira came back from nowhere and fight was stopped as it seemed Chandler was not fighting back after a series of big punches to the head.

    This one could be messy.

  • Bo Nickal wins by unanimous decision

  • Drab affair

The less said about that fight the better.

Bo Nickal really has a lot - and I mean a lot - to work on if he's going to become a contender.

  • Bo Nickal vs Paul Craig (Round 3)

Nickal is refusing to come inside so as not to get drawn into a groundfight.

Craig is having to resort to body kicks from a distance.

Finally Nickal comes forward with a big punch over the top and catches Craig on the eye and he feels it.

Wow that punch made one hell of a sound as it landed.

It puts the Scot on the back foot and he fails to take it to Nickal.

This one is going to the card.

  • Bo Nickal vs Paul Craig (Round 2)

Craig is talking a lot of trash to Nickal in this round.

All he is managing to land is kicks from afar.

Nickal tries to come in with the big elbow but it just misses.

That is a tough round to score with both fighters keeping their distance in the main.

Craig needs to get on the offensive more in the final round.

  • Bo Nickal vs Paul Craig (Round 1)

Nickal is looking to take the lead in this bout.

He keeps flying forward with kicks and big overhand punches but Craig is dealing with it all well.

Craig is keeping his distance and looking to pick him off.

He will need to start throwing more himself if he has aspirations of getting the win in this one.

Nickal is trying to avoid the takedown as he does not want to enter the submission world of Craig.
