  • Taylor wins controversial fight but still LOSES after £30m bet with Paul

Taylor lost her controversial £30MILLION bet with Jake Paul after he beat Mike Tyson.

The female boxer beat Amanda Serrano in their undisputed lightweight rematch at the AT&T Stadium.

Taylor, 38, won the clash despite many fans claiming she was gifted the result against the seven-division champion.

The pride of Ireland's interest in the evening did not come to an end after her result though.

She had made a bet with Paul that he would lose to Tyson last week.

The bet was worth the pair's purses from their respective fights.

Taylor challenged Paul by saying, "Put your money where your mouth is".

This means that if Paul had lost, he may have had to cough up his £30m winnings from his fight.

However, with Paul winning, it does mean that Taylor could be set to forfeit her £4.6m, which is the largest fight purse in women's boxing history.

It is not yet known whether or not Paul will actually force Taylor to pay up on the bet though.

  • Tyson and Paul both immediately suspended

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have both been suspended after their highly-anticipated bout.

The 58-year-old legend fought hard in his first professional fight since 2005 - but the man 31 years his junior was ultimately the winner.

Paul won via a unanimous decision and chose not to knock out Iron Mike in the latter stages of the contest as the veteran began to tire.

The influencer has claimed it was Tyson that pushed for the fight to be professionally sanctioned and go on their records.

However, as a result, the pair have now be suspended.

This is because the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation will order them to rest.

Every fighter has to stay out the ring for at least seven days after a bout.

And rules state an extra that three days are added for each round fought.

With the clash going the full eight rounds, they are now both suspended for 24 days.

Amanda Serrano suffered a severe gaping wound above her right eye after her controversial loss to Katie Taylor.

Serrano, 36,  who is now 2-0 against her rival following their first encounter two years ago at Madison Square Garden.

The two boxers locked horns on Friday during the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul main event at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

And the Puerto Rican sustained a horrific laceration above her right eyebrow thanks to repeated headbutts from Taylor.

Serrano bled throughout most of the match and it was obvious she was favouring that side of her face.

Taylor went on to pick up a unanimous decision, much to the dissatisfaction of many fans who strongly disagreed with the judges.

After the fight, Serrano took a close-up photo of her gaping injury and revealed its full extent.

She said after the fight: "That's what they do. Not only my fight, but she did it with Chantelle Cameron.

"But listen, I'm a Puericwah, I'm gonna die in this ring no matter what. No matter how many cuts to my face. I'mma go until the very end.

"I think 100 per cent they were intentional. She does it in every fight."

  • Ring girl Sydney Thomas steals the show

Ring girl Sydney Thomas delighted fans as she worked on Mike Tyson's bout with Jake Paul last night.

Sydney, 20, was one of five ring girls deployed for the event in Arlington, Texas.

Paul's unanimous decision victory over Tyson failed to capture the imaginations of many of the fans tuned in worldwide.

But plenty enjoyed the presence of model Sydney.

One fan described her as the "real winner" of the event.

While a second asked: "So we're all on the Sydney Thomas hype train right??"

A third posted: "the best part of this fight is sydney thomas, the ring girl. whew."

Another added: "Sydney Thomas fan account now."

  • Jake Paul admits he failed to knock out Mike Tyson ON PURPOSE

Paul claims he deliberately avoided knocking out Mike Tyson as their highly-anticipated bout failed to live up to the hype.

The 58-year-old boxing icon lost on points but went the full eight rounds against the influencer-turned-boxer 31 years his junior.

Tyson started the on the front foot before seemingly beginning to tire and fall away from round three onwards.

By the final round, few punches were thrown and stats show Paul landed just 78 across the fight.

Tyson scored even fewer, connecting with his rival just 18 times.

Asked about not going for the knockout blow, Paul said in his press conference: "There was a point where I was like he is not really engaging back.

"So I don't know if he is tired. I can just tell his age was showing a little bit.

"I just have so much respect for him and that war thing between us after he slapped me, I wanted to be aggressive, take him down and knock him out.

"But that kind of went away as the rounds went on.

"I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn't want to hurt someone that didn't need to be hurt."

  • Punch stats

The punch stats from Mike Tyson's defeat to Jake Paul made for "sad" reading.

Veteran Iron Mike, 58, started strongly enough in his Netflix boxing fight with the former YouTuber.

But he simply ran out of gas within the first few minutes of the eight-round contest.

And that was proven by his dismal performance when it came to his shots.

In the 16 minutes of action, the former undisputed heavyweight world champion landed just 18 punches - averaging just 2.25 successful hits per round.

In total, he only attempted 97, meaning he made contact with just 18 per cent.

By comparison, Paul, 27, threw a whopping 278 punches - nearly 200 more than his ageing opponent - but still only landed 78 for a success rate of 28 per cent despite his opponent barely moving.

His most explosive round came in the third when the victorious Problem Child attempted 44 punches and connected with 16 of them.

However, a woeful fifth round saw just four punches landed between the pair as the quality failed to live up to the hype and Paul refused to go for the knockout.

  • Con Man

Conor McGregor has deleted a sick post about paralysed Prichard Colon after Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson.

Many took to social media to Jake Paul's victory against Mike Tyson including McGregor.

However, the Irishman opted to make a disgusting post to suggest that Paul will fight Colon in his next fight.

McGregor wrote: "They are eyeing Prichard Colon for next opponent.

He has since deleted the horrible post from social media.

Colon is paralysed, having suffered a brain haemorrhage after his fight with Terrel Williams in 2015.

The Puerto Rican was placed into a coma for 221 days, after which he was moved from the hospital to his mother's home in Orlando, Florida.

Despite the MMA fighter removing the post, many people saw it and slammed him for it.

  • Katie Taylor branded a cheat

The other huge fight on the card which saw Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson was Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 2.

Katie Taylor was branded a "CHEAT" before a bloodied Amanda Serrano levelled her own accusations in Texas.

Taylor controversially retained her undisputed light-welterweight title with a unanimous decision victory on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard.

All three judges scored the fight 95-94 for Taylor - despite the Pride of Ireland suffering a point deduction.

The crowd at the AT&T Stadium in Texas booed at the result, with Serrano having suffered a gruesome cut at the end of the fourth round, which turned the fight.

  • Bellew the belt

Tony Bellew has claimed Jake Paul broke a rule during his win over Mike Tyson.

Before the highly-anticipated fight, it was agreed that 14oz gloves would be worn rather than 10oz ones usually worn in professional bouts.

The bigger gloves naturally slow punches down and lessen the impact of their blows, making a knockout more difficult.

"There is a huge difference in them gloves and I’m only watching from a bed."

Despite Bellew's opinion, there is no suggestion that Paul was in fact using banned gloves.

  • More on the suspension

Every fighter has to stay out the ring for at least seven days after a bout.

And rules state an extra that three days are added for each round fought.

With the clash going the full eight rounds, they are now both suspended for 24 days.

If Paul landed a knockout then Tyson would have faced 60 days away from the ring.

The regulations state: "Medical disqualification of a contestant is for their own safety and may be made at the recommendation of the examining physician or TDLR [Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation].

"A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness."

  • Mixing it up

Kate Abdo left fans baffled with her "cringeworthy" accent during Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson.

The sports presenter was on duty for Netflix during the fight at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Abdo did turn heads with her outfit as he worked alongside Andre Ward and Cedric the Entertainer.

She wore a patterned corset without a bra for the fight.

But for some viewers they could not get past her accent during the broadcast.

The Manchester-born present appeared to drop her usual accent and sounded a lot more American.

  • Record-smasher

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have raked in over £14MILLION ($17.8 MILLION) in ticket sales alone - the highest numbers outside of Las Vegas.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer and heavyweight icon controversially clash at the AT&T Stadium - home of the Dallas Cowboys.

And Paul's Most Valuable Promotions say a crowd of 70,000 are expected to fill up the NFL venue.

A huge $17.8m (£14.4m) has been totalled from ticket receipts alone.

That smashes the $9m (£7.1m) Canelo Alvarez, 34, did for his 2021 win over Billy Joe Saunders, 35, in the same stadium.

Paul, 27, and Tyson, 58, brought in the largest gate record outside of boxing's capital of Nevada.

  • Images of the brawl

And here are some images of the fan bust-up.

  • Brawl'ing out

Fans turned up to the AT&T Stadium to see a brawl between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.

But its safe to say that some fans took matters into their own hands.

Dozens of fans were seen watching the scrap in the stands as the men missed with ambitious superman punches before ending up holding each other as fellow fans jumped in to break them up.

The 30 second brawl also saw an attempted headlock and even one of the men trying to gouge the other's eyes out.

It ended with both men clinging on to each other.

Several of the onlooking boxing fanatics had their phones out filming the lacklustre action.

  • Million dollar dream

Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson in style tonight.

Paul says his outfit is the most-expensive in the history of the sport.

"This outfit I've made for the fight is the most-expensive fight outfit in the history of boxing," Paul .

    "It's $1 million."

The outfit is coated in reflective silver and reflects beams of light in every direction.

  • Jake Paul's updated boxing record

The YouTuber-turned fighter has dominated the influencer boxer sphere, boasting a 11-1-0 record after beating Mike Tyson.

Since taking up the sport, he has been named as the top influencer "boxer" by the Pro Boxing Association.

Jake won his first six fights before suffering his first defeat in a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023.

But he bounced back, beating UFC legend Nate Diaz by unanimous decision in August 2023.

And he hasn't looked back since.
