Jake Paul incredibly offered WORLD TITLE fight by cruiserweight champ in 2025 if he beats Mike Tyson with terms revealed
JAKE PAUL can fight his way into an incredible WORLD TITLE shot by beating boxing hero Mike Tyson.
The YouTuber-turned-prizefighter controversially brings heavyweight great Tyson back to the ring on Friday in Texas.
But despite the slammed spectacle bout, Paul insists his goal in the sport is still to become an unlikely world champ.
The American moves up to heavyweight for his fight for the ages against Tyson - but maintains he will campaign as a 200lb cruiserweight.
And reigning as the WBC champ is Armenian-German Noel Mikaelian - who has called out Paul before.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman says Paul must first beat a ranked contender to earn a top 15 spot - which then paves the way for a world title shot.

And Mikaelian is ready to put his illustrious green and gold strap on the line - so long as Paul gets past Iron Mike.
He told SunSport: “If he beats Mike, let's go, let's run it down, let's fight. If it's for entertainment purposes, if he goes light on Mike, I'll go light on him.
“We can do it in the States, broadcaster, world title on the line, he has to be ranked of course, if Mauricio ranks him, I'll do a voluntary defence against him.
“It will be great. It will be lucrative for me. He has something to win, I have something to win.

“He wants the status, he wants the world champion status and I want the money. It's good for boxing.”
Paul, 27, has ten wins and just a single loss to Tommy Fury, 25, on his boxing record so far.
And he continues to ruffle feathers by calling out the likes of Mexican legend Canelo Alvarez, 34, and voicing world championship ambitions.
But Mikaelian warned talk is cheap as he urged Paul to put his money where his mouth is with a big purse in exchange for a WBC title shot.
He said: “I need a lot of zeros. Definitely seven figures.
“I mean he is bringing a big audience and it will be a great show because everyone will watch him because he is doing what he is saying.
“He said all the time, all these years he was gonna fight Canelo, he will fight a world champion and he will become a world champion.
“At some point you have to back up your words on what you're saying.
"Otherwise you're just a talker and just use real fighters names to promote yourself. So at some point you have to step up and really fight.”
If he beats Mike, let's go, let's run it down, let's fight. If it's for entertainment purposes, if he goes light on Mike, I'll go light on him.
WBC cruiserweight champion Noel Mikaelian
Paul's fight with Tyson is worth £60million but has come under scrutiny amid the age gap.
Tyson, 58, has not fought professionally since 2005 - the night he quit on his stool and threw the towel in on his boxing career.
He did return in 2020 for an exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr - but it was nothing but a glorified sparring session.
Against Paul, records will go on the line under pro-sanctioned rules, but over eight two-minute rounds - opposed to three - and bigger 14oz gloves.
And Mikaelian warned Paul that he faces a lose-lose situation against ageing icon Tyson.
He said: "If Mike wins it's good for him because he's almost 60 years old and he's beating up, how old is Jake Paul? Like mid-twenties or something?
“So yeah it's good for Mike's reputation. He can still bang those young dudes out and for Jake, if he wins, I mean, he has nothing to win in there.

“Of course, it's a big name, Mike Tyson, but he's 60 years old. What does he have to win there? It's just about money, I guess it's about money.
“It's a business and I hope both go out of the ring, healthy and wealthy.”
