ARSENAL will be without Declan Rice for Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
The England midfielder, 25, did not travel to Italy with his Gunners team-mates.
Rice played the full 90 minutes as Arsenal were beaten 1-0 at Newcastle on Saturday.
But he did not take part in training on Tuesday morning.
It is not yet clear why Rice was absent.
But Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will have to do without the £100million man as his side take on the Italian champions.

Rice has missed just one game across the Premier League and Champions League so far this season.
That was September's clash at Tottenham, following his red card against Brighton in the previous match.
While Arteta is set to be without Rice, he has received a fitness boost elsewhere among his squad.
Captain Martin Odegaard took part in training and has travelled to Italy.

Odegaard, 25, has not played since suffering an ankle injury on Norway duty in September.
But he could feature against Inter.
Arteta, 42, is without a trio of defenders for the match.
Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu will be absent due to knee injuries, while Kieran Tierney has not yet returned to full training following a thigh issue.
