Tony Bellew set to fight David Haye in rematch providing former heavyweight world champion recovers from Achilles injury, promoter Eddie Hearn reveals
Hearn also refused to rule out Bellew taking on Tyson Fury, though he thinks an Anthony Joshua vs Fury fight is more likely
IF the general public want to see a Tony Bellew vs David Haye rematch, then that is what they will get.
That was the defiant message from Bellew's promoter Eddie Hearn today, who has admitted the Matchroom team "would certainly entertain" part two.
Haye is currently recovering after having surgery to re-attach his Achilles after he was injured in the sixth round of their fight.

He is expected to be out of action for between six and nine months following his 11th-round defeat to Bellew.

And the victor himself is believed to require some surgery on a hand injury sustained in the bout.
Speaking to TalkSport, Hearn about the prospect of a rematch, Hearn said: "A lot of it is about Haye's rehabilitation, Tony [Bellew] has got lots of options now and David really has one, the rematch with Bellew.
"The public want to see the fight. It's the unanswered questions that make the rematch desirable to the general public.
"There is chances for Tony to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world, and that's attractive.
"But ultimately if the Haye fight is the biggest and he can recover, then we would certainly entertain it.
"People want to see it again, and as always in boxing, if they want to see it again, it's our job to make it happen."
Despite Haye essentially left fighting off one leg after ripping apart his Achilles, Hearn insisted Bellew's gameplan was still intact, and that he would have won regardless.
He added: "The plan going into the fight was to take Haye into the later rounds when he could gas and he could break down, not that we thought his Achilles would go, but his shoulder, but just injuries that happen as a fighter.
"I would have loved to have seen a fully fit David Haye in those later rounds as I still believe Tony would have won the fight."
Another potential opponent for Bellew could be Tyson Fury, who has revealed he is back in training and is seeking to obtain a boxing licence.
But Hearn believes there is more chance of Fury fighting his top Matchroom fighter.
Hearn added: "We are desperate to see Tyson Fury back in the ring, whether it's against Bellew or of course Joshua because Joshua against Fury is a great, great fight."
