The home side banned anyone with a Lombardy postcode - where Atalanta is located - from entering the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

This measure was taken for security reasons.

But that did not stop Scottish supporter Steven from making the trek to Naples for the game.

He could be seen all alone in the Atalanta section with a huge club flag.

Steven also shared pictures of him inside the ground surrounded from all other corners of the arena by Napoli fans.

But the area for the away fans was completely deserted as the Scot took photos with the stewards.

Alongside the pictures, he added the caption on X: "Napoli stewards were amazing with me. Grazie.

"Easiest shift they’ve ever had. What a game that was."
