ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER was taken out by a thunderous shot to his groin against RB Leipzig - but the commentator saw the funny side at least.
The midfielder put his body on the line to help Liverpool win Wednesday's Champions League game in Germany.
Mac Allister bravely moved across to block a powerful shot from Leipzig defender Benjamin Henrichs.
The ball smacked the Argentine in his crotch and knocked him to the floor.
Mac Allister appeared to be in some discomfort as he received assistance from a physio - he even left the pitch momentarily before returning.
BBC commentator Steve Wilson joked in response, saying: "That will sting. I don't think he'll be getting on a horse any time soon."
