Premier League LIVE SCORES: Bournemouth BEAT Arsenal after Saliba sent off as Man Utd beat Brentford – latest updates

PREMIER LEAGUE action is finished for the day - and there was one shocking result.

At the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth beat Arsenal 2-0 after William Saliba was sent off for bringing down the last man in the first half.

Goals from Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert sealed the deal for the Cherries in the second half.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has survived another day after his side beat Brentford 2-1, coming from behind to do so.

A fierce London derby kicked off proceedings, with Tottenham thrashing West Ham 4-1 after a stunning second-half blitz.

  • Newcastle 0-1 Brighton

    71. It has been a sad end to the day for Danny Welbeck.

He has been stretchered off at St James' Park and his day is over.

However, as it stands, his goal may have won this game for Fabian Hurzeler's side.

Maybe Erik ten Hag has finally found the secret formula to turn United’s season on its head after all…a kick up the backside mixed with a combination of frustration and fury.

It certainly worked against Brentford, anyway…

  • Southampton 2-2 Leicester

    70. In the space of ten minutes, Leicester have turned this game on its head.

They are dominating this game now and putting the hosts under constant pressure.

Say what you like about Steve Cooper but his bringing on Fatawu seems to be the moment that changed this one.

  • Fulham 1-3 Aston Villa

    70. This has become mission impossible now for the hosts.

Digne put a cross into the box, which seemed harmless, until Diop turned it into his own net at the near post.

It looks like Unai Emery's side have sealed the win in the capital.

  • Southampton 2-2 Leicester

    74. The Saints have hit the self-destruct button in this second half.

Fraser was given his marching orders for his foul on Vardy, who himself stepped up to take the resulting penalty.

The veteran striker smashed his effort down the middle of the goal to silence the home faithful.

  • 74. GOAL - Southampton 2-2 LEICESTER

Jamie Vardy scores the penalty to draw his side level at St Mary's.

  • 69. GOAL - Fulham 1-3 ASTON VILLA

Isa Diop scores an own goal for the hosts.

  • Red card - Ryan Fraser (Southampton)

  • Penalty to Leicester

How haven’t Newcastle scored? Brighton, wasting as much time as possible, continue to frustrate and hang on.

And the crowd are getting restless, even towards their manager. THey’ve just booed his decision to bring off Sandro Tonali and replace him with Joe Willock.

  • Fulham 1-2 Aston Villa

    61. Watkins skips past Andersen who is the last man for Fulham.

He barges the Villa striker over and the referee has no other option but to give him his marching orders.

Any hope The Cottagers had of getting back into this game has evaporated with that one incident.

  • Man Utd 2-1 Brentford

    62. Fernandes plays a superb pass in behind the defence for Hojlund to run onto.

He lifts the ball past Flekken to get his first goal of the season.

What a turnaround by Erik ten Hag's side.

  • 62. GOAL - MAN UTD 2-1 Brentford

Rasmus Hojlund gives the Red Devils the lead at Old Trafford.

  • Red card - Joachim Andersen (Fulham)

  • Southampton 1-2 Leicester

    60. This is going to be a nervy time for The Saints.

Confidence was flying high after their first half performance.

Buonanotte's goal however will test the mental strength of Martin's side at St Mary's.

  • Fulham 1-2 Aston Villa

    64. Fulham seemed the most likely to score after the interval but could not create a clear cut chance.

The visitors forced a corner and Tielemans put a delightful cross in and Watkins duly delivered.

This could be a big win for Unai Emery's side if they take all the points.

  • Man Utd 1-1 Brentford

    55. Whatever Erik ten Hag said at the break seems to be working.

Man Utd are bombarding the visitors with a wave of attacks.

It almost seems as though Thomas Frank's side are a boxer on the ropes trying to absorb the barrage of punches right now.

Ipswich fans have waited 8,214 days since their team’s last win in the top flight, and the wait looks like going on after they found themselves two goals down at half time.

After falling behind to Iliman Ndiaye’s goal, they saw a penalty award overturned, before conceding again to a stunning strike from Michael Keane after 40 minutes, as the big defender rifled the ball into the roof of the net from close range.

  • Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

    50. It has been all Fulham since the break.

They are forcing Villa onto the back foot.

The visitors manage a rare break but the ball into the danger area is poor and there is nothing Watkins can do to get on the end of it.

  • Man Utd 1-1 Brentford

    46. Rashford plays a superb cross towards Garnacho at the back post.

The Argentine strikes a brilliant volley to beat Flekken.

Old Trafford erupts after they booed their team off at the break.

  • 46. GOAL - MAN UTD 1-1 Brentford

Alejandro Garnacho equalises for the Red Devils straight after the break.
