MVG reacts to Littler thrashing
Michael van Gerwen warned "this is not gonna happen again" after Luke Littler thrashed him at the Czech Darts Open.
The teenage sensation made more history in Prague with his 6-1 quarter-final triumph over Mighty Mike.
After the match, the pair posed for a funny snap as Van Gerwen pretended to strangle his rival.
Alongside the picture, the Dutchman wrote: "This is not gonna happen again. Fantastic game by @LukeTheNuke180 what a talent. All the best."
Humphries on Czech win
Luke Humphries felt he found a spark as he won the Czech Darts Open in Prague on Sunday.
Reflecting on his triumph, the world number one said: “When I beat Ritchie Edhouse on Saturday I felt good, but I felt I needed a spark, and I found it today.
“When I beat Gian I felt that spark again, but I still know there’s another level in me, and I believe I can get better.
“It’s nice to bounce back [from the World Grand Prix], because when you lose in major finals it’s not easy; it does hurt you, so this is a nice way to finish my ProTour season.
“I’m going to come back next year and I’m going to work harder. I’m going to change things and I’m going to win more – that’s my commitment to the game!”
Humphries lifts the trophy
Luke Humphries looks delighted with his latest win.
Cool Hand Luke defeated Kim Huybrechts 8-1 to land a £30,000 jackpot.

MVG record
LUKE LITTLER created history yet again after reeling off SIX legs in succession to maul Michael van Gerwen.
The teen sensation crushed the Dutch star 6-1 in the quarter-finals of the Czech Darts Open in Prague.
Littler hit six 180s and MVG’s 112.19 average was the biggest losing total in the history of the PDC European Tour.
Least we not forget
Despite crashing out at the semi-final stage, Luke Littler set a new tournament record at the Czech Grand Prix.
His average of 110.43 broke the record tournament average.
We told you more on that below.
Prize money
Cool Hand Luke is £30,000 richer thanks to his Czech Darts Open win.
He was victorious against Kim Huybrechts - thrashing the Belgian 8-1 in the final.
Earlier, Humphries beat Luke Littler 7-4 to book his place into the final.
Humphries reacts
I think I played a solid game. When I played Ritchie Edhouse in my first game I felt good but I felt like I needed a spark.
“It kind of did happen today. I felt that spark again. I still want to change something, I still know there’s another level in me that can get better.
“Luke (Littler) was probably one of the fantastic players of the tournament. But I knew I could beat him. I’ve done it many times and I believed in myself.
“It’s a nice way to cap off what hasn’t been my best ProTour year.”
Humphries 8-1 Huybrechts
This has been a good natured final with both players directing the crowd with their hands as they've chanted their names.
But there can only be one winner.
And it's Humphries... by a country mile.
Humphries 7-1 Huybrechts
145 leaves 36 for Cool Hand Luke.
Huybrechts is miles out at nearly 300.
And Humphries nails it on his return. He's within one.
Humphries 6-1 Huybrechts
Humphries misses by milimeters for a second 180 in a row.
Huybrechts hits a 180 of his own and both players fist pump to leave ton finishes.
But it's Humphries who gets the opportunity to get it first, and he does it with ease. Players laugh.
Humphries 5-1 Huybrechts
He's lethal.
Now an 84 checkout goes for Humphries, as he closes in on the Czech Darts Open.
Huybrechts has no answer.
Humphries 4-1 Huybrechts
Huge ton plus checkout and Humphries points to the crowd.
That was a masterful performance, and he's turning the screw.
Huybrechts can't keep up.
Humphries 3-1 Huybrechts
125 checkout misses, just, qith the bullseye for Luke.
However, he gets his 25 at the second attempt.
Huybrechts was breathing down his neck there with 22 left to score.
Humphries 2-1 Huybrechts
The Belgian stops the rot and gets on the board.
That will give him some confidence moving forward.
Still, you feel it's Cool Hand Luke's to lose.
Humphries 2-0 Huybrechts
Humphries needs double 8 with Huybrechts needing a ton plus checkout.
Huybrechts won't get his, but Cool Hand Luke goes two up.
Humphries 1-0 Huybrechts
It's the first to eight, and Humphries scoring a 173 shows he means business.
He's the first down to a finish, needing 72.
Huybrechts is on 177. Humphries nails 52, leaving double 10.
He gets it with his first dart, and that's the break.
Humphries vs Huybrecht
We're a little bit late for the start of the final, but the players are out now.
This may be a one-sided final, but who knows in darts.
They jest
Littler dumped MVG out in emphatic style at the Czech Darts Open.
Behind the scenes the pair mucked about - with MVG tweeting about their fun exchange.
