ASIA ARE KINGS OF THE REYES CUP
So once again, congratulations to Team Asia who beat Europe to win the first-ever Reyes Cup.
Needed Joshua to fill in
One person who could have helped Team Europe win the Reyes Cup is Joshua Filler but he was removed from the competition.
The World Nineball Tour put out a statement on their website that read: "Regretfully Joshua Filler has been withdrawn from the 2024 Reyes Cup due to concerns over contractual obligations and team integrity around the inaugural event.
"As the next player ranked highest on the Race to Reyes Cup WNT rankings, David Alcaide will join the European Team."
A few hours later, WNT changed their announcement to: "Joshua Filler has been withdrawn from the Reyes Cup and will be replaced by David Alcaide as the next highest-ranked player."

Team Asia have not made history, but they have taken home a nice amount of prize money for their troubles.
The Reyes Cup has a $150,000 total prize fund.

Aloysius Yapp has an incredible story.
The Singaporean started playing pool at age 8 and dropped out of school in 2011 to become a professional.
He won the inaugural Asian Junior Pool Championship in 2014 before featuring in the 2021 US Open Pool Championship and earning a bronze medal at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham.
Now, he has just fired his side to the first-ever Reyes Cup
Jayk of all trades
Jayson Shaw revealed to SunSport that he was on the verge of becoming a snooker player but being banned from the local club forced him to play pool.
"I got into a little bit of a fight outside the club one day and they ended kicking me out of the club.
"I just ended up sticking with pool.
"I really feel if that had never happened I would have become a pro because I was really into it, hitting 100 breaks every day, and I was only playing for like, two or three months."
"Stuff happens for a reason," he adds, "I enjoy nine-ball pool, I get to meet a lot of different people, travel the world, and obviously play in big competitions.
"I can't be too mad, I feel blessed."
